Nike Suspends Endorsement Contract Of Deshaun Watson

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Wed Apr 7, 2021 5:31 pm

Deshaun Watson has had his endorsement contract with Nike suspended amid allegations of sexual assault and harassment.

“We are deeply concerned by the disturbing allegations and have suspended Deshaun Watson,” Nike said in a statement released Wednesday. “We will continue to closely monitor the situation.”

Watson has been accused of sexual assault or harassment in lawsuits filed by 22 women. One of those women, Ashley Solis, said Tuesday during a news conference that she was assaulted and traumatized when she tried to give Watson a massage in March 2020.

Thus feeding into the neverending cycle of money grabbers seeking paydays via frivolous lawsuits.

So you think 20 plus women created this scheme to get money? I don't know what he did to those women but at the very least he's a pervert. Reminds of that weirdo Kellen Winslow Jr.

We'll let this play out. I don't want to jump to conclusions and it's best to let the evidence play out. Knowing the way the Texans organization has handled things in the last few years, I wouldn't be surprised if this was them trying to look for an opportunity to null and void the guaranteed money Watson is owed due to a morals clause.

As for Kellen Winslow Jr., that dude is a special breed of **** up who should never have played football period. Here's a crazy list of crap he did during his time:

1) In high school, he ended up assaulting a fellow student when he was 16 and the beating was so bad the victim had to be fed through a tube for 6 months. Winslow's dad, the famous TE for the Chargers and hall of famer agreed to pay for the medical costs and Jr. was able to avoid jail when he should've been sent to prison for that stunt. Instead he learned the fatal message: as long as you got money, you don't have anything to worry about. If he was a random nobody kid, he'd be in prison.

2) The shenanigans at the University of Miami. Originally, the dad wanted him to go to Washington for football, but Jr. wanted Michigan. Dad refused to sign his letter of intent so they settled on a neutral school in the U. The B.S. he pulled there was insane and apparently the following happened there:

a) Raping of an unconscious 17 year old girl when he was 19. This was not known until he plead guilty to it years later. These college football programs will go to extreme lengths to protect their star recruits by any means necessary. It happened in Florida with Aaron Hernandez, Nebraska with Lawrence Phillips and many others. Who knows how many other crazy crimes he pulled in college that were hidden up.

b) The rant about being a soldier. That infamous rant was really the last straw that forced Winslow to apologize not only to his teammates, but the football program and the university. He had agreed to do so, but when it came time he backed out and said screw it I ain't doing it. The utter lack of accountability reared it's ugly head and he once again got away with this crap. Honestly he should've been kicked out of the program, but these schools value money more than holding their players accountable.

c) Porn addiction. Before being caught committing lewd conduct at Target, it turned out that this guy would pull this crap in college and even the NFL hence why so many of his teammates avoided rooming with him whenever possible. Dude is one nasty POS.

3) His NFL career was disappointing for the most part. Being drafted 5th overall by the Browns and being the highest drafted TE in 3 decades, he could've been more if he was serious about his craft. Getting injured in his rookie year, oh well things happen. Performing motorcycle tricks on a Suzuki and getting injured resulting in him missing his 2nd year. He was lucky the Browns didn't void his contract as they could've done that if they had wanted to, but they were desperate for talent.

Dude battled staph infections and criticized the Browns for it and was sent to Tampa. He had signed a 6/40.5M deal in Cleveland and was eventually rewarded with a 6/36M ex. due to being in the pro bowl, but injuries wrecked him and the Bucs were crap at that time. He got sent to Seattle and was released after refusing to take a pay cut. Then after one disappointing year with the Jets, he was done.

Obviously, his off the field antics didn't help and the fact that he's serving 14 years in prison for raping multiple women as part of a plea bargain and he'll be on lifetime parole when released. His 1st trial ended up being a mistrial and he faced life in prison if convicted on the 2nd hence the plea bargain. Honestly, he should be spending the rest of his life in prison as he's a proven danger to other people and his idiot Dad clearly never held him accountable for this B.S.

If you sexually assault a woman do you think, good chance she goes to the police, right?

How about if you assault 20 different women, and still non decide to contact authority?

No woman, let alone 20, would let someone worth over 200 millon get away with from assaulting them.

At first I thought it was the lazy money grabbers that were the danger to society, but I now see that the naive and gullible public is just as dangerous. Anyone with a lick if common sense and street smarts knows exactly what's going down here.
