We'll have the Minnesota second round pick from Golden State since their first won't convey. So first pick of the second round.

We've got 3 2nds as of now I think - Minnesota, ours, and Denver. So 2 picks in the 30s and 1 in the 50s.

Ah, because the protections on the Boston trade.

I've said before that he's a guy I don't mind taking with our second pick when it looked like Houston might night be a top 5 worst team. I'm not sure I love taking him if we only have one top ten pick.

45% from 3 would be pretty useful. He's got some athleticism too if you saw that dunk he had last night.

I'm not ashamed to admit it, I went back and watched Suggs' block and ensuing assist on the halfcourt transition bounce pass again this morning. God damn that was cool. Whoever gets this guy is a lucky fanbase. Looks like Dwayne Wade and Brandon Roy's DNA were somehow fused and grown in a lab somewhere.

He seems like a guy that's going to make winning plays like that throughout his career. I would be thrilled if we got him.

Which guy is the most "Thunder" player though? I can't think of anyone else but Cade or Suggs. They both seem to have that type of personality. Not sure about the other guys even though they'll hopefully all be great in one way or another.

Well what is a "thunder guy"? We joke about long, athletic guys that can't shoot but the truth is Presti has had draft picks of all different backgrounds. Payne, Huestis, Poku and Maledon don't necessarily fit the thunder profile. I think you could make a case for all 5 of the top guys being guys he likes. You could say Mobley and Green are california guys that would never fit in OKC but people said the same about Russ too. Who really knows?

I wouldn't over think it too much. I'm pretty sure Sam just wants talented players that want to work hard.

Very impressed by this Davion Mitchell kid. Looks like a Pat Bev potential type with an even sturdier frame. Sort of a shorter pure PG Marcus Smart.

Yuck. Don't EVER compare ANYONE to Patrick "Cheap Shot" Beverley if you want to leave a favorable impression around these parts....

That quickness for his size, though.

Josh Giddey might be a good consolation prize for those missing on Cade.

I’m really talking myself in to him. I’m not sure if I’m irrationally developing an internal bias or not.

I’m not talking myself into anyone until the lotto is decided.

Anyone think Garuba can play center? A little short for a center, but seems to have a nice base and is strong.

Don’t you want to set yourself up for crushing disappointment?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Giddey knock Kuminga out of the top five. He’s really rising up draft boards.

I love the thought of a team filled with dudes 6’5 and taller who can all handle the ball and zip it around. Maybe they aren’t super defenders, but they’d be long and get in passing lanes and help. Throw a pure scorer in there along with shai and it would be so fun to watch.

With Mobley protecting the rim, the defense will be more than adequate. 8-)

I don't get the Kai Jones ratings that I've seen from so many draft experts.

Didn't watch Kai enough. Don't get Kispert at 7...

Davion Mitchell in some top 10/12. Don't think a team will draft him that high.

Chad Ford had Mitchell at number 6 on his recent big board.
