Don't let Herb Dean referee anymore.

a) That kind of flagrant stabbing of your fingers has a super high chance of resulting in an eye poke, as happened,
b) even if it doesn't, it is unfair to Belal that he has fingers stabbing in his face. You could see him reflexively blinking. He would try to move in on Edwards, Edwards would stab his fingers into the zone between Belal and him, Belal would stop advancing.

Leon maybe the worst fighter Ive ever seen when it comes to the business and promotional side of fighting. He honestly is beyond clueless. The dude hasnt fought in 2 years, gets a NC by eye poking his opponent who took the fight on short notice and now he is calling for a title fight. He truly is clueless.

Kevin Holland has the best stand-up comedy game in the Division.

Missed the start of the post fight but assume he asked for
Costa. That’s the only name that makes sense for him.

Pretty good card. A couple of finishes. Holland talked too much and really didn't do much.

He's trying to troll people into his game and has to have irrational confidence to think he's going to get somebody off kilter to get the finish. He's just trying to annoy people to get off their game and bam, he's got em.

Jacare thought he was joking around, he said some **** back and bam, KTFO. Good on Brunson for not takin the bait.

He'd be a thing at 170. So light in his ass, Brunson just big brothered him the entire fight.

I think you're right but that can't be his main strategy. It's great to get into your opponent's head but you need to also have a fighting game plan too. It didn't seem like he had that.

A little bit of a peculiar showing by Holland. It’s like, at some point everyone was expecting him to drop the showmanship and show a sense of urgency and he never did. It’s a shame because he’s obviously super dynamic and capable, but it seemed like he focused 75% on the theatrics and 25% on the actual fight.

Hats off to Brunson, though. Third straight fight where he was the underdog and he wins in convincing fashion.

The urgency needed to get out from bottom away from Brunson would have required so much energy that he would have been gassed when back on the feet.

That size difference wasn't as drastic as Jan/Izzy but it's the same thing. Good technique + size means the little guy is staying there on bottom.

170 he's a champ contender without any changing of style/strategy.

Who has ever been champ with the use of crazy, novel techniques and speed? ^^^ It's always someone with disciplined dominance in a single aspect of the sport. His stand-up was idiotic last night. Lurching in and unable to maintain distance or range.
