Re: PG: Trent Career high
I think it's time to move on from Kyle. Should've traded him at the deadline. Was against it cause of emotions but it's time. Sign someone else and then re-sign Trent. Might have to bring back Norm. (Wish Demar could shoot 3's by now). If we get a top 10 pick and have a young core of Top 10 Pick, Siakam, Fred, OG, Norm, Trent, Boucher, Flynn that's damn solid.

It's cool y'all, there are good prospects between 8-14 available in this right here draft, with Jaden Springer and Jared Butler leading my list.

- Flynn was balling tonight. Really looked good. I wasn't high on him before but he looks like he has what it takes to be at LEAST a Cory Joseph type, if not better.
- Gotta admit I didn't like the Powell deal but Trent Jr is really impressive. Hard to believe he's still so young and he's shooting like that. Definitely want to hang onto this guy long term.
-Gillespie looks useful but that's not hard to do when the other C on the team is Baynes. He is so so so bad, I can't see him being more than a third stringer if he's still in the NBA after this deal.
Interesting to see how the ball was hopping around and we were scoring with ease in the first half. We regressed to our mean in the second half but even then, not a lot of ball sticking.
I would look to move FVV this summer for a package around Ball and Bledsoe. We'd get another young do-it-all guard with size and we should be able to extract reasonable compensation from NOLA for taking on Bledsoe
Nurse played Bembry, Hood, Yuta,Stanley and Baynes together in two stints. They won those minutes overall I believe. Some games are just hard to lose. As the great Jay Triano once said ‘What the **** you gonna do?’
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

As long as we get Jalen Johnson (especially) or Bouknight I can somewhat live with a blown tank.

We're 1-0 in a post McCaw era. I noticed our players were a lot more relaxed today when playing. Now they don't have to look over their shoulder when they do something wrong and expect McCaw to be subbed in for them. It's a freeing feeling

Damn i just remembered gary is with klutch. We're going to have to pay him this summer lmfao. Might be best to trade fred in the offseason tbh. This board would be in absolute shambles but if our pick ends up in the 8-10 range i wouldn't mind davion mitchell. Him and OG would wreak havoc on D

We're in 8th now. Let's hope we get lucky in the lottery. I think 6th is realistically the best we could hope to get to pre-lotto. The top 5 are on a completely different tier.

Flynn looks good playing his game and not spotting up in the corner as FVV dribbles the air out of the ball.

I don't totally endorse that opinion, but it would really be nice if Fred and Pascal noticed the free flowing ball movement and saw how effective that makes the offense.
If you've watched this team at all this year you already know the answer to that question. And it's... They won't. FVV has let his ego get out of control since getting his bag. And Pascal has been a dumpster fire since getting his as well. They think that because they're now the highest paid guys on the team that somehow they can forsake all team dynamics in order to "get theirs". And as such will continue to chuck shots and ignore team mates at every opportunity.

This game should be a lesson to Fred and Pascal not to let the ball stick and keep it moving.

I’ve made peace with whatever. I don’t think we’re trying to win and still it might just suddenly start happening. Games are much more random this year than ever before with the 3 and questionable effort by teams from night to night because of the schedule and lack of fans. There is only so much you can control. I take solace in knowing that our front office knows how to draft regardless of where.

Was thinking about this.
Trent looking to cash in, once he does hell likely be hated here unless he more than lives up to it.
I just hate being in the middle but I understand you need feel good wins at times.

Well I think Pascal has actually become a better passer and facilitator. My complaint about him is he passes too much sometimes, he drives into the lane and starts turning his back to pass back out before even looking at the shot. ie he goes in having decided to pass beforehand. Also he takes too long, too many probing dribbles, to make his moves. He is a ball stopper in that sense.
With Fred it's over-dribbling, and forcing shots at the rim because he let the possession go too long instead of passing.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.
