He actually had a term for people who worked for a boss, but because of their "status" made money hundreds of times more than common laborers. He called them the "aristocracy of labor".

Random people owning random teams is so weird to me. I'd want to own the Bucks, Brewers, or Packers - not any random team that's available. It must be an 'I have a **** of money and too much time' thing.

I'd own any team that's available if I was a billionaire. Then I'd Kohl the hell out of it.

I once had a dream that I bought the Bucks and made Frank Madden the GM randomly. Then we took polls on this forum to decide on major decisions like the next coach and if we should follow through on trades and signings.

The Nets court is such an eyesore. I cannot stand watching games in Brooklyn.

Agreed. League needs to step in. It’s going to be an abomination for the casual fan who tunes in for the playoffs.

It looks like something you’d expect to see in the Big 3. Maybe the gray looks great in person, but it doesn’t translate well over the broadcast.

T-wolves selling for $1.5b in what is one of the first post pandemic sales of a major pro sports team. Not sure what restrictions come with the sale on moving the team, and of course Taylor doesn’t want to clear out right away.

Wow we could pick up Jabari for next to nothing, and he's still not worth it. How far the mighty have fallen.

I hope he's been good with his money. He's 26 years old and has made $55 million in his NBA career.

For reference, the median person in the US makes about $2.2m in a lifetime.
I think Jabari's had a good start.

There’s a reason why the Cavs have a ridiculous 124.5 offensive rating and an assist percentage of 78.8 with him on the court. Dellavedova is exactly what the Cavs missed this season — a secondary ballhandler who can handle pressure and stabilize a young, still-growing backcourt. “I feel like I still have a lot to give and a lot to improve on,” he said. “And there was really no doubt in my mind that I would be able to come out here and contribute in a positive way by just competing, keeping us organized and helping the team win. And that’s what I’ve been able to do so far.

Bucks dodged a bullet passing on Oladipo.

That’s especially when the pressure was highest on us pre-supermax with Giannis and him practicing together.

Lakers hammer the unbeatable Nets. It's almost like being a terrible defensive team hurts you.
