Honestly, that might be one of my most favourite Laker regular season wins of all time, considering the circumstances. Absolutely massive.

Man I love the Dennis VS Kyrie matchup.

Dennis was able to hang with him.
Played good defense.
And got under his skin.

This is the kind of games that give our other guys confidence that will be needed in the playoffs.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

It’s the kind of game that makes the Suns and Jazz say **** me if they fall to 7 or 8 after the play in. All that hard work to play the top defensive team there is, to play a bunch of guys who have had to played hard to win at a clip better than the bum ass Pelicans and their haul have  and then to get a healthy and rested AD and Bron.

Let's cross our fingers AD comes back full strength.

They were showing some clips today of AD practicing his turnaround shots and he was looking really good.

They said before the game he'll perhaps play in latest ten days.

Who was the primary defender on KD out there? Same guy who has shot 54.5 from three his last three games?

:noway: People wanted to give KCP up for Lowry as a throw in and rely on Wes

Tucker shot bad but I can live with that because he wasn’t missing his defensive assignments and wasn’t turning it over like he has
D been when Bron first went out. Games like this make me say he’s not worth paying the most we can this summer, he’s not Arenas or McGrady good at all. But it’s an easy choice between him and Caruso as long as Dennis wants to return. You bring Dennis back and let ThT be the backup point guard primarily and then play some sg and develop him at the right price. He would make a fine backup to Dennis and KCP.

I also got to say that I’ll take today’s Trez who was playing D, contesting shots, and setting picks over 20point Trez

Nets board playing this off as if it's nothing. It's nothing that your team, that is 90% healthy, got beat by a team that is at 50%?? The GB is freaking out too, mainly delusional 1st or 2nd year Nets fans.

If I was them I would be saying Drummond is a problem. This isn’t his first time dominating them. He’s 3-0 this year versus them. Aldridge took it today but Deandre took it early this year too. The nets should have offered the disabled player exemption they had for 6 mil and the starting spot they offered Aldridge to him. That is what I would be more pissed off about. Nash never adjusted to him in any of their games and that’s not going to change in the playoffs

And to be fair I think they only offered Aldridge a starting spot so Miami didn’t get him. They knew that if you gave Miami him, they would cover for his lapses and be able to beat them in a 7 game series. Aldridge went there because he wasn’t starting in Miami, just backing Bam up though. He wants to start, he made that clear with the Spurs too before he left

Also netter fans are saying Mclemore Morris Caruso kcp making their shots won't happen again so no need to worry. I like for them to run w their assumptions and complacent stance. Don't argue w them!

This is the best win of the season by far. Everyone looked focused and the chemistry seems to be clicking. I saw Schröder being a pesky defender against Kyrie, even though he had 19 in the first half, he made him work and that's all you can ask for. KD still seemed to be fragile so I'm not really putting to much into KCP's defence - even though we know he can defend, no one can defend a healthy KD. THT looked confident all game long and finally made some smart plays and head up plays by throwing those two passes in the frontcourt and getting into transition breaks. Mclemore seems to be the shooter we expected Wes to be. It'll be hard for the coaching staff to decide who gets cut once the playoffs begin and everyone's healthy, but it's a luxury problem to have at least. Drummond will have to be getting fewer post touches tho once AD gets back. He's not that efficient on the block and he's better in the pick n roll whilst also cleaning up the glass. Overall this was extremely fun to watch and I love to jinx myself claiming we'd lose.

No cuts needed so to speak unlike past year ... COVID made the nba adapt a rule in December that teams can carry 15 active guys on a roster. We just ain’t had 15 bodies

But they can literally have Drummond AD Bron Kcp Dennis Kuz THT Caruso Kieff Trez Marc Wes Ben Mckinnie all active every game ... Really the wonky choice is do you keep one of your two ways active or do you leave an active spot for Dudley to dress hurt and all

Nets have two defensive breakdowns every possession and they're soft as **** on the boards. Feels good to have a shooter in McLemore who launches without thinking though. Pelinka got great value out of vet min deals in Morris, Drummond and now McLemore.
