I'm fine with Clifford, don't believe in pampering. I want a coach that drives accountability and demands improvement. We don't need another JV here.

Right now I am in a good spot with Cliff...the minute distribution the last 2 games has been quite spot on. I honestly feel someone had a talking with him and he is finally on board. Time will tell.

Good for our Trojan Horse.

Win - helps TOR win so eliminates other competition if the tank wars
Win - neck and neck with CHI so the more wins, the better pick we get from CHI
Win - more PT for WCJ and Bamba
Win - fellow Canadian finally playing in his dream team.

“Former Major Leaguer Alex Rodriguez and billionaire Marc Lore are finalizing a deal to purchase the Minnesota Timberwolves from majority owner Glen Taylor, sources tell ESPN. Taylor will continue full control of team for two years before Rodriguez and Lore take over in 2023.” - Woj

This is big, and I have to wonder are they going to move the team? Seattle, Las Vegas, etc?

The T-Wolves have a great young core and could add to it with another top pick in a strong class.

Now they are getting a new ownership group lead by Alex Rodriguez.

Why can’t Orlando be so lucky?

Read the fineprint " Team will stay in MIN if they buy it " or something to that message.

Taylor is the one bought the team for the sake of saving it from leaving Minny in the first place.

He has said all throughout this process that keeping the team in Minny is a priority. I am sure there is an agreement in place with the new ownership group to keep the team in Minny.

So... any of you saw Gary Trents statline? Granted it was against the Cavs BUT... any here would have prefered the POR trade of trent over DEN rj?

I would have but there wasn't necessarily one offered to ORL...also, we'll see what GT gets paid. Imagine if ORL gets attacked with a max offer (from NY say) to match?

True. all we had were rumours. Yeah, matching his salary would have been the risk we take for such a productive playerbut at least we know what we are getting compared to RJ where its all potential at first.

Obviously, I meant TOR (not ORL)...only place I heard GT to ORL was on these forums. I'd still have done it, even with that risk...I'm a big fan of certainty vs potential upside (especially in the form of "projects to be a good shooter, just never made any yet")

Lillard wanted AG, not sure the Portland FO did.

Just seen Jamaal Murray gone down badly with a non contact knee injury, man you hate to see it in a young team with a legit chance to a deep playoff push

Yeah that sucked. I was rooting for DEN to ein it all esp since AG is there.

That injury.. did it look like Fultz or JI to you? non contact.. run and stop then give out?

He gonna miss a chunk of their next season if that is an ACL tear..

Looked very similar to Kelle in that it happened on the way up, no contact at all, way less side to side action (not euro stepping or anything) but didn't quite look right, almost like a straighter plant. But as soon as he planted that left leg and went up he dropped the ball

Actually just seen a head on angle and his knee definitely buckled inwards on the plant, that's a major

other than scoring 24 against G league Magic , Gordon has been pretty damn mediocre. Maybe he will get more shots now with Murray out.
