I didn't realize Andrew Nembhard transferred to Gonzaga. What a ludicrous team, probably one of the best we've seen, talent wise, in some years.

Ayayi, Nembhard, Suggs, Timme, and Kispert is pretty unfair.

The fact that UCLA kept it close is pretty crazy to me. Baylor even pales in comparison to Gonzaga talent-wise. Should still be a great national championship.

Yes! He’s one of my favs (Mobs, Green, Suggs, Kuminga, Giddey, Filip the others). Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes abit higher though. Been on board for a minute lol

Getting mad Patty Mills vibes from him. Perfect guard from the bench to play with any of the starters imo.

Walk away with Butler & Filip with our 1st/2nd pick I’ll be over the moon lol.They just look like NBA quality. Serious transferability which I look for the most.

If not I’m eyeing off Goga, Simons, Nowell, Hart as young players to add if it doesn’t cost much

Wait, Davion Mitchell is just outside of a top 5 pick projection as a 23 year old guard with zero (0) seasons above 70% FT shooting. He's also a .214 FTr in this most recent season. Hey, best of luck with that, more guys to fall in the first round, I guess.

I don't hate him as a prospect, but top 5, top 10 seems a little crazy.

Also, if Brandon Boston is there at our pick (which I'm predicting he won't be), he should be a pretty easy selection. He falls short of a lot of things I'm looking for in a prospect, but it's weighted differently for me. Dude barely had a training camp, he's skinny a ****, and he was asked to do too much too early. By the time he was getting his shot down (80% FT; 38% from 3 in final 12 games), it was too late to salvage his stock on his college season alone.

I will say he'll likely come into the combine with more muscle and better conditioning/finer tuned skills and raise his stock substantially. I don't think you go from #5 in the class to absolutely sucking without a good reason.

Would drafting a guy like Giddey allow Simmons to play his natural position at PF? Also, this would allow Harris to play SF. He has the ability to bring the bigs in for easy dunks. So far he’s averaging 11.2pts at 41.7%, 3pt 33.3%, 7a, 6.8r & 1.3s. Also, in his last 12 games his 3pt average is 45%.

I agree. I think he's been in an unfortunate situation(Ziare too). He should be an easy pick for any contender in the 22-28 range( I don't think he'll last that long).

My early diagnosis of this draft is that it's, surprisingly, not as good as last year's draft (one I anticipated being trash). The end of the first round and second round prospects are pretty meh this year based on what I've seen thus far. Maybe I need to dive in more.

With my criticisms said: I think Aaron Henry has some potential to be a solid role player. He was asked to do waaaay more than he's capable of doing this year for Michigan State. I could see him coming onto a team and become a 3&D specialist if he can get that form more fluid (looks like he's squatting every time he takes a shot). He has some dribbling and vision chops which makes me feel good that he'll carve out a niche at the next level. I'm seeing him as a second rounder, which makes sense, but I could see him pulling off a 10 year career that many first rounders won't because he has excellent role player tools. Feels like a Buzz Williams Marquette type G/F.

Nah you are correct, the top of the draft is nice and the teens, early 20s have guys but the rest is either intriguing tools but really raw, or college guys with meh potential

this draft feels like a draft with a bunch of guys you can get hyped about and then they are out of the league in 2 years and no one will be surprised lol.

Like a lot of prospects based off a small glance but that is tainted by now being in late 1st round area and anybody with a pulse who can dribble and hit a jumper looks like a god to me.

Marcus Bagley is such a natural progression from guys like Mike Scott and Anthony Tolliver. Seems like a no-brainer pick in the second round for us. We need a slinger with PF size like him.

I'm hoping Boston and Clarke continue to scare GM. I'm more interested in Boston, but either would be a good draft and stash in the G-League for a year to work on their bodies and game. It's not easy to find 6'7 guards who can handle the ball like they can. This is certainly the draft to take a chance on underperforming, top of their HS class prospects. As someone said in here earlier, Ziaire Williams fits that mold too.
