FNQ wrote:Funny that I cant find a single quote about Kerr talking about his asthma. His asthma was specifically mentioned in a couple cases: playing for Denver (altitude) and playing in the bubble (COVID).

The Warriors, if anything, resurrected McGee's career and got him back on the non-minimum path. I'd really love to bring him back too, he's actually an ideal fit

They used to keep his puffer right at the scorers table. He’d hit that before going in. I seemed to remember one instance where he didn’t have his puffer lol

I’ve heard Kerr say a few times that McGee was good in short bursts. Which is true. And while I thought he could handle more minutes, Kerr obviously didn’t based on the way we saw him use him.

Javale proved with the Lakers he could play more minutes. But I didn’t follow closely enough to know if his production or play dropped off after playing more than the short bursts.

Just going by Kerrs lack of approval, I don’t see a reunion. Although I feel it’s be a fantastic fit again.

Woj says it's a torn meniscus, which means it's true...

Shams and Woj just recently stated he had a torn meniscus. I don’t think the MRI was even done this morning.

This really sucks, there’s only 2 reasons I’m watching every Warrior game this year and those were Stephen Curry and James Wiseman, now we don’t even have that. Curry still entertaining but I can probably safely skip over the second half of Q2 and first half of Q4 now, get a little time back. Don’t need those 12 minutes for the occasional Poole 3, Oubre dunk, or Wiggins block. Without Steph and Wiseman this team is really hard to watch.

Bigger problem is it’s yet another wasted season where our rookie big really needed playing time to catch up and now he’s on hold again. And obviously his trade value is about as bad as it could be now so they can’t even reasonably move him if a deal presents itself.

This sucks, really bad luck.
Now let's see if they decide to go full tank or if the removal of Wiseman negative impact on the court can propel the team to the playoff.
I guess we're short of a center now, so I expect Payton will be cut and replaced with a center.

He’s definitely out for the year. However after what I assume will be surgery, this will allow him time to focus on upper body strength in the offseason. But the perfect ending to his rookie season.. a disappointment

Put Steph and Dray in bubble wrap for the rest of this season. Can’t afford a serious injury at this point in this lost year.

Most interested to watch a scrub rookie center when you have Steph Curry on your team. Man some of y’all are funny

Just hoping the meniscus can be repaired, instead of removed (Wade, Zion examples).

One more reason for the team to go full tank and get near the 9th/10th pick range.

Yeah let's see how hard it works in rehab.

Rehab can motivate some people to improve their overall fitness, not just working the injured joint. IOW, he's going to have a chance to do other things in the weight room than working on strengthening his injured leg.

You hope they've already been talking to him about an offseason training regimen to add muscle long before this injury, just to set his expectations.

color me surprised that you have some snarky reply...

yes, I was more interested in seeing what the future might have in store for the team I root for than watching Steph go off in a season going nowhere. But then again I don't share your opinion than management is full of idiots and that Wiseman is a scrub.

anyways, that's two injuries (wrist, knee) in 39 games

hopefully this is an outlier not a trend, but combined with his play on the court I'd say his value is essentially very little right now.
