Any team that gets DDV would be willing to match 60/4, he is worth that. I wouldn't have much of a problem paying him that from the Bucks.
Why would a contender not want DDV if they can fit him lol? He's not that much worse of a player than Bogdan is right now, and Bogdan gets 18m. If I had to guess I'd say he ends being better in a year or 2.
A losing team would probably give up a pick around 10 overall for him. This is because DDV is a proven good young NBA player - this has value. A draft pick is a mystery box.
Lost in all this is the fact that DDV is still getting better. Any team that trades for him would be trading for him knowing that he is getting better at every part of basketball.
DDV worth 4/60? Lol. No way.
I bet DDV could fetch a 1st rounder between 15-20 at best.
Landry Shamet landed a late first, DDV is 3 times the player. His next contract will be for $80 million or more.
Holy Balls bro you managed to miss the point yet again. Shamet had 2 years on his rookie deal like Donte did last summer and he also could have gotten a first back. This summer a team trading for him has a messy RFA right ahead next year, not much evaluation time so he lost value. That changes if he goes off in the playoffs but as of now it's what it is. My original point was Donte's value was highest last summer.
