The Warriors "have shown interest" in Bogdan Bogdanovic, Shams Charania reports.

The Warriors have been linked to several wings in the last few weeks including Victor Olaidpo. Shams didn't provide any additional information and it's unclear if the Hawks are interested in parting ways with the veteran. Since returning to the lineup, Bogdan has been pretty underwhelming with 9.0 points, 2.5 dimes and 1.5 triples, but did play well in his last two games against the Lakers and Thunder.

I come in peace :)

What do you guys want for him and could we come to a deal without giving up Curry, Klay, Wiseman, and the Minnesota pick? Could we interest you in a nice, shiny Kelly Oubre and/or Eric Paschall (as if you need another PF lol)?

I believe Bogdan only becomes available for a late lottery pick, or if Atlanta acquires Lonzo Ball, and Golden State is the third party. Kelly Oubre seems to be out regardless but in don't believe we would be interested.

Haha, these two statements run counter to each other.

I don't believe these rumors, btw. They all make sense for the opposing teams, not the Hawks.

Lol we don't have much to offer unfortunately. For us to take on his contract we would have to send over Wiggins or Oubre, and most NBA fans would throw up in their mouths at the thought of taking on Wiggins. He is playing well for us though, albeit not enough to justify his contract. I was going to try and offer Wiggins and Poole for Gallo and Bogdan so you guys could get out from their contracts, but just looked up Gallo's numbers and he's been beasting the past few games lol.

For the record, I did throw up in my mouth at the thought of either of them. The thought of both Wiggins and whOubre induced a mini coma, hence my delayed response.

I don't think the Hawks are a great trade fit although they have a lot of pieces teams want. We really just need to see how things shake out once everyone is back healthy.

Lol good luck to you guys. I was thinking you guys would be a #4 seed this year with your off-season, but it looks like it took a while for Bogdan and Gallo to get healthy. Hopefully getting hot and winning games will also fix some of the tension between Trae and Collins.

If the Hawks somehow acquire Ball, then BB for Oubre and future lotto protected 1st makes sense for both parties. The Hawks would clear enough money to pay Ball.

Hawks are still dealing with injuries. Hunter and Reddish.
Also, I don't believe there is any tension between Collins and Trae.

Thanks, hope we can get everybody back and no more injury and fight for a top4 spot.
Regarding Trae and Collins, pretty sure there is nothing, it's all made up by media to justify them talking each week about something like a trade of Collins, which is still a possibility, but not because of a tension.
Even if they were not agreeing on one thing, don't forget it was also with the previous coach and not McMillan, and I'm pretty sure these kind of things happen in every locker room, but they don't talk about it, maybe because they don't hear it.
They are always ready to imagine trades like ATL have something to fix to compete, and sending players in any other direct opponents, without taking account that helping another direct opponent makes no sense.

He's not a spot up shooter so can't say I blame him.
I heard very early in the season that he wasn’t happy with the way the Hawks were using him. Those grumblings are still there. Part of the reason is Huerter is (rightly, at least for now) starting over him at shooting guard, and the Hawks have mainly used Bogdanovic just in a spot-up shooting role. It is surprising that the Hawks haven’t used Bogdanovic more as a playmaker, particularly when Young sits.

When we signed him, they talked about his playmaking. We've seen some of that the last few games.

^^^Yeah, this seemed inevitable. And understandable, especially when Reddish was stinking up the joint as starting SG. The dude had options and didn't sign with us to be a low usage backup or to stand on the perimeter watching Trae pound the air out of the baketball.

At this point, we clearly need to adjust how we use the dude. He has not been effective, productive or efficient with us.

Despite being hurt for much of this season and underwhelming when healthy, Bogdan Bogdanovic is apparently unhappy with his diminished role in Atlanta, per ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Good start to adjusting to Bogi:
Bogi's first 9 games: 78 shot attempts,  58 of them from 3 = 74%

Bogi's last 9 games: 84 shot attempts,  49 of them from 3 = 58%

Good Read! The COVID stuff regarding testing and lack of sleep is interesting.
Read on Twitter

I’ll start with this: Over the past few games now, it seems like you’ve finally found your groove. What do you feel like has changed for you during this stretch?

I’m just being more aggressive and I feel like we’ve started to build chemistry between us. When you really look into it, we’ve only played a couple of games together. It hasn’t been many. Since I got hurt, having the restriction minutes off and now that I’ve been off of it, it’s been fun.

So you wouldn’t necessarily point to one thing in particular for this stretch but rather just gaining more chemistry and feeling more comfortable out there then?

I would just say that I’ve been a little more aggressive game by game and not trying to force anything. I’ve just been playing with the thinking that this is what my team needs out of me. That’s it.

In the past three games in particular, you’ve started. Most of the games you’ve played, you’ve come off the bench. When you signed here, did you expect to be the starting shooting guard coming into the season?

Yeah, I did expect it, but as I said at the beginning when I got here, I am a professional. I’m going to do whatever my team needs me to do. I think it’s normal to expect that you’re going to start. I don’t see anything bad about it.

Would you say you were comfortable then coming off the bench when the season began? How did you feel about it?

I felt the team needed me off the bench, and I was doing my part to help. Now with the starting unit, I’m doing the same thing. I’m just trying to win games and have the same attitude and same approach. Maybe it’s a little different role with the starting unit. I’m approaching the game the same way.

Before your injury, they were kind of using you in a spot up shooter role instead of taking advantage of your on-ball ability. What did you think of your role at the start of the season and how did you feel about it?

I felt like in the beginning that it was a new situation and a new team, and I felt like they didn’t know my game — that I can create, that I can be more than just a shooter, but I was also trying to let the game come to me. I wanted to build that trust from the players and not just be like, ‘Hey, give me the ball and let me show you what I got.’ I don’t have that mindset. I’m always thinking that the game will come to you and you better respect the game. When it’s your time, you just have to be ready to prove it and ready to show it. At the beginning, it was new. Our second unit, especially, was new and just trying to run and not dribble so much. We didn’t create a lot. My role was kind of simple — just catch and shoot and that’s it.
