Yeah, Vuc in particular has not moved the need at all for them. But I guess it'll take time to integrate him properly.

Keep the summer league in Vegas and just hold the All Star game there every year if you’re that hard up about it.

Fair and having lost the Rams they have availability too, like San Diego. However, STL would just be adding yet another team for the league to crap on. If you're not going to do anything to fix the system you might as well just embrace the reality of it. Vegas and San Diego do not have those issues. More importantly, Vegas has a 3 year old stadium ready to go. If I remember correctly, Seattle is building one now or just did.

One thing specific to STL though, and granted I'm quite a Cardinals hater, is the um should we say demographics and mindset of their baseball fans would suggest to me that city would not be very receptive to the NBA.

Vegas is built for the NBA and has absolutely killed it with support and sales since they got the hockey team. Granted, it helps they've been good immediately. Now, adding in NFL and NBA is a stretch and I can't say for sure how it would go. But these days it's almost impossible to fail at NFL. And if you can kill it with hockey I don't know how it wouldn't with NBA.

The St. Louis demographic is predominantly African-American. St. Louis and Milwaukee have been seen as offshoots of Chicago for years. Best doughnuts you will ever have in your life are at a small black owned doughnut shop in the heart of downtown St. Louis just a few blocks from the old Rams stadium. I drive down there once or twice a year. Pretty cool city.

The Cardinals stadium is insane. They have this massive Fox Sports (I assume Ballys now?) building right in front of the stadium that makes the Mecca look like a shed. There’s a bunch of bars inside and a massive screen. Truly an out of this world experience for their insane fan base.

Id love Seattle to have an NBA team again, and i'd also love to see a team in Vegas, but expansion is the go for me. DOn't want to see any more existing teams transplanted again.

Greg Monroe has been out of the league for 2 years now? Only 30 years old. Damn.

I don't think that's the type of player Vucevic is. IMO the Magic miss Gordon but they don't miss Vucevic, and it's not because Bamba and Carter are great.

So the Bulls gave up a Top-10 pick for a 30-year old big who doesn't move the needle all that much, huh?

I mean, who could have seen this coming?

In fairness, this is the first year in a long time he's had something to be excited about with the Hornets.
Maybe I'm easy to please but I cracked up at 'hum diddley dee'

It's tough with anouncers because everyone has their own tastes. These dudes are definitely over the top but I'd take that over some of the national ones who don't seem to even like the sport. I mostly listen to music while I watch games these days. I think in the somewhat near future well get multiple choices of announcers.

Sounds nuts but I might be more concerned about what Embiid could possibly do to us in a playoff matchup than I am the Nets.

The All-Star weekend being in Vegas sounds like a tremendous amount of fun.

I think if we have one strong point it is Lopez and Giannis combined defense. Lopez has slowed down a fair bit, but if his opponent is not much faster than him (and Embiid isn't really) he's actually still a pretty good defender.
Embiid doesn't scare me, it's typically the bigger and fast wings like Butler and Kawhi that we can't do anything about.

Just when I thought it couldn't get worse than Marv/Webber... my ears might commit suicide tonight.

The Mavs without Porzingis aren't particularly impressive.

Oh no. Jamal Murray. Grabbing his knee in what seems like excruciating pain.

Non-contact injury. Looks like his knee buckled.

He got up but had to be helped off the floor with no pressure on his left knee. The way his knee buckled during his drive is eerily reminiscent of Jabari's injuries.
