UNDER 25 ONLY
I would have to take Zion.
He's such a physical monster with the athleticism of a Guard. Plus he's the youngest of the group too.
IMO when he puts it all together he has a chance to be LeBron 2.0
For the record "The Joker" is 26, that's the only reason he's not on this list. Ditto Embiid who is 27.

Its tough between Luka and Zion but I'm very skeptical about Zion's ability to hold up health wise.
I would go Luka.
I would go Luka.

Luka and Zion are definitely head and shoulders above the others in terms of building around.
On the basis of versatility and longevity, I go Luka. But would love either or both to become future Nets!!

Luka is my pick. Yes Zion is one of a kind and it’s hard to get a guy like him but his long term health I question and it’s a guards league now. Luka is a great passer and shooter and can do it all. I feel like if I were starting a team I would want a guy who can lead and set up teammates and get his own shot when needed.

None of those guys can hold Luka's towel let alone being in conversation.
2- Tatum
3- KAT
Rest of them not belong in this conversation. You don't start with likes Mitchell or Zion as your franchise player, good all stars, not good enough to make others better.

I chose other and would take trae young. i think thats the easiest to build around and the way the league is trending. it is also alot easier to hide a bad Pg on D then it is a bad wing on d. You can create an elite team around ice-tray. he gets some harden hate for the drawn fouls but that then understates his brilliance offensively. Trae always got mocked in the Luka comparisons cause his team didnt win. but now they basically have the same record as dallas (including a better record vs the west). Trae in the pick and roll is as hard to defend as anything in the league right now
My second choice would be tatum. he has the highest 2-way ceiling. As his game matures and he accepts improving as a playmaker, the sky is the limit for him.
I'm pretty low on mitchell. to me he is pretty ordinary as far as all-star wings go.
Luka i think is overrated. great player but i think the triple double are overrated. getting 10 rebounds doesnt mean much today where over half of rebounds are uncontested with no opponent inside the paint/3point line. and they give out assists like candy now along with guys getting 30-40 usage. his shooting isnt great. he needs to up those percentages. great player though.

Didn't I give you facts about him in another thread? He has a 28 PER which is 4th in the whole league. He's averaging 27/7/4 while shooting 62/36/70 . He's averaging 27 point per game while shooting 62%. That is insane efficiency. What are you even talking about?

Luka is 6'8 James Harden.
Zion is a freak but not sure what happens once his athletic ability is gone.
I'm taking Luka.
