let's see, two guys who play the same position or basically the #1 defense in the league for 10 years

In today's game I'll take Jordan playing alongside the rich man's Klay Thompson. Hakeem/Pippen guarantees great defense but also creates spacing issues with one non 3p shooter and one pretty bad one. In the 90s it's a tough call for me.

Wouldn’t Jordan and Miller probably be the best offense in the league for a comparable amount of time, especially in the playoffs where Miller consistently played amazing?

Jordan/Miller easily Best offense with already good defense
Get any elite rim protector (doesn’t even have to be great offensively 2019 Gasol, GSW Bogut).
That’s a championship contender already.
Hakeem/Pippen would have Number one tier defense but it’s not the greatest fit offensively in today’s environment.
MJ/Miller on the other hand gee whiz that’s high octane offense right there don’t need much else. Defense would be good anyway

Hakeem won with worse 2nd options than Pippen so obviously they'd win rings, but i want to say i find Pippen's scoring to be pretty unreliable come the playoffs and he would offer Hakeem only so much help there. Here's Pippen's scoring averages from 91-98: 19.2 ppg on 52.1 ts%. This is more or less his prime, while also playing with Jordan in a triangle system. Pippen's a nice passer, but he's not in Reggie's stratosphere as an offensive player. I think that's something to understand when people look at Pippen and think he was this 2-way force. His defense was goat level for his position, but offensively he was sometimes good and other times blah.

"Rich man's Klay Thompson" Wat. Literally would take Klay in any aspect of basketball of Reggie.

Then you're overrating Klay and underrating Reggie, as commonly happens.

That's interesting considering Miller scores more, has better efficiency, averages more assist and did all these things in a more defensive era and as the #1 option.

First 20k regular season minutes of each of their careers:
Reggie: 22.0% Usage with +9.1% shooting, +3.9 OBPM
Klay: 24.7% Usage with +3.1% shooting, +1.8 OBPM
Maybe Klay's the better defender, but that's a pretty big edge for Reggie.
But let's check the playoffs just because, you know, funsies:
Miller: 25.9% Usage with +9.3% shooting, +6.5 OBPM
Klay: 22.5% Usage with +1.6% shooting, +1.2 OBPM
Not even remotely close. Reggie buries Klay in the playoffs.
But let's be generous to Klay, and only compare them through Klay's prime (since 2015) and take the same five years age-wise from Reggie (that's '90 through '94):
Miller: 25.0% Usage with +9.2% shooting, +6.3 OBPM
Klay: 23.2% Usage with +1.7% shooting, +1.6 OBPM
Yeah . . . Klay is a fine player, and an outstanding floor-spacer. But comparing his shooting (as the second option behind Curry and third option behind Curry and Durant) to Miller's shooting as a first option (the more difficult path) makes pretty clear that in the postseason Miller is way, way past Thompson.
