Lol Luka has a 2nd chance at a 3pter and he airballs it... even though he was extremely short on the first one. How is that even possible? Shouldn't he have adjusted? How can it be even shorter?

Be careful about criticising Luka. Archx will call you a troll if you dont take part in his Luka circle jerk :D

You're just talking **** without any context or reason all the time. Again, why are you in Mavs threads? Go to Knicks or something...

I love the guy, he's my favourite player, but I don't think he's better than last year, so I'm disappointed that he isn't a top 3 player this year. The only thing he's better at is 3pt shooting, and he's going cold in the past few games. He's at 28% in the past 6 (including this one). He's better at one thing and worse at a couple of things, so overall, I don't see him as better than last year.

As a fan, I think it's okay to be disappointed. He came in out of shape and it's not 100% clear to me that he's in his best shape right now. He still looks heavier than last year and it shows. Last year, I said that if he ever could hit 38% from 3 he would be the best player in the league... but I didn't expect him getting worse around the rim. Even his passing and rebounding looks slightly worse to me. It's not just less opportunity.

Since this game stinks has anyone noticed Rick has had 1 orange ear plug in pretty much all year?

Anyone know the story behind this?

At least, Luka his shooting well from the FT line in this one... But I don't get why RC would put him back in down 17 with 10 minutes left on a back to back. I don't like it.

Nice to see Tyler Bey though. I wish RC gave him a chance.

But don’t worry, Brunson and Carlisle are Maverick lifers.
Wow really calling this game over early.

Usually has to be atleast 2-0 for you to call it.

Mavs couldn't hit an ocean tonight and KP is missing but Sixers are simply a better team that matches up perfectly vs them. Those two losses vs Houston and SAS hurt that much more now.

Yeah, I was always expecting them to lose to Philly. The losses yesterday and against Houston were way worst.

At least the Blazers aren't playing well, but the Mavs could already by in 6th and closing in on the Lakers. Oh well.

Talent gap was too huge to overcome. If the 3 ball is not there, then the Mavs have no chance vs any team it feels like.

Luka looks like he needs a rest. No lift on drives. Pump faking in the post is not gonna cut it against such defence. But lets not pretend this one is on Luka. Team defence is a joke. Bricking 3s all night, because no one can drive and create for himself.

Damn, i just saw Lakers also lost. Man, Mavs are so close yet so far away from that 6th spot lol... But i kinda get the feeling Rick thought Mavs won't have a chance vs Sixers, so i understand why KP played yesterday and not today. Still, if he did play, maybe Mavs would have a chance.

I expected to lose this one. Luka played too many minutes for a game they had no chance.

He would have gotten bullied by Embiid too.

I promise you I’ve been a Mavs fan longer than you’ve been alive probably. This team isn’t fun to watch and we all know exactly what seed they’ll be at seasons end... what’s the point in torturing yourself until then?

So you've seen the Buckner/Cleamons eras? Those were so much fun weren't they?

Again not sure what you expected from this team, but they are where they should be.

I watched the Mavericks when their two best players were Jim Spanarkel and Tom LaGarde.
