KD is ridiculous. 31 on basically all jumpshots.

I like the plan to build his minutes regardless of score. KD is so good, it's easy to forget he hasn't played more than 20 minutes since his return.

KD is still playing because its the performance team's plan. It's unfortunate that this game ended up being the 1st of a b2b, but I don't see any way of KD playing tomorrow now.

Yeah this is probably the recommendation of the training staff, as a way to get KD back into his normal game shape. This is probably better at preventing injuries than an arbitrary minutes restriction.

BTW, they've also probably decided already that both Griffin and KD are out tomorrow. They're not going to risk anything.

Especially since we have no Harden or Kyrie. It's not like this is a statement game. I don't want to throw away games but KD needs to be 100% for the playoffs. The plan was to build him back slowly and this is only his 3rd game back. He's still in the building stage.

I'm not sure about that. I'd play both KD and Kyrie.
