...which is what some of us have been suggesting.
But you left out maybe the most important thing...let's see how that team looks with a new coach.
Sure.
I've never seen the point of trading Beal -- unless someone makes an offer that is so good you can't say no. & certainly this is not the time to trade Russ.
We have 5 expiring players, Lopez, Neto, Len, Ish & Robinson. Seems like at least 2 of them (Robinson, Smith) are sure to be gone. Neto & Len are good value for what they make (plus a little next year...).
We also have team options on Gill & Bonga. I hope we keep Bonga & a new coach gives him some rope. Gill is an end of the bench type, but he hasn't been terrible.
In connection with a new coach, the big questions we'd like that guy to turn into emphatic yes answers are Rui & Deni's development (both of whom will have to be a whole lot better than they've been so far to give a person real reason to be optimistic) -- plus our R1 pick next year -- which I hope will be higher than #9 !! & we also need Mathews to get his wheels back on the road. Plus, like Zards, I'm a Cassius Winston fan.
In short, we have something to work with. It would be sad if we didn't, given that we have turned over essentially the whole team in the last 2 years!
