I actually wanted the Bulls to settle into mediocrity and really secure the conveyance of that pick. The worse they get, the more nervous I get about that disaster scenario of them landing inside of the protection range for 2 years.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Detroit plays Cleveland, OKC and Washington next though which is nice.
Detroit certainly has an easier schedule than us the rest of the way. Unfortunately, we have the Rockets on Sunday which is an instant W. That'll put us 1 game away from OKC who I have a hard time seeing winning another game this year with the roster they trot out there each night

Houston has been pesky recently.. also we were absolutely terrible the previous 5 games.

Have you guys noticed that other team's players love talking to Bamba and seem to be friends with him. Maybe he will recruit a super team!

I also feel bad for Bulls fans. That was some sad basketball.

I think he means they should try and keep their pick.

I hope you are right. I would love to get into the top 3 odds, but I am honestly more concerned about OKC above us than anything

If they just miss top 4 we get their pick. 5th pick would go to us. Thats pretty awesome.

Nice win for The Magic.
I expected The Bulls to be better after the deal. If they continue down this line, we are going to have two things we will be on the edge of our seats for on Lottery Day. 1) If Magic get a Top-4 Pick 2) Hoping Chicago does not draw a Top-4 Pick as there odds could increase and The Lakers got #2 a few years ago with low odds.

For Bulls Trade to be what WeltHam wants, they need Chicago to have a late lotto pick this year. Wendell Carter is showing his potential thankfully but want another Late Lotto to mid-first rounder this year.

It doesn't, I think he's just saying that if they were smart they would flat out tank to try and secure their pick.

One of the top hip hop songs of the last few years was Mo Bamba. I talked to girl a while back who knew the song, but didn't know Bamba was a person.Ducklett wrote:Have you guys noticed that other team's players love talking to Bamba and seem to be friends with him. No, it doesn't. That pick is top 4 protected. It's going to fall somewhere in the 8-12 range, which is what we want. The risk of it going top 4 was always baked into the trade.

Chicago losing this game is actually more bang for buck from our perspective than the Magic losing. Imagine if the Bulls get like the 5th pick and the Magic get a top 3 pick!!

OKC's tank should be illegal.
