How much money is D-Wade worth? Random google search said $170m but no idea if that is accurate. Can't see him being more than a 5% owner and more of a name than anything.

Maybe. But they're definitely going to parade him around as a face of the franchise.

Weird to see the Utah Jazz and Dwayne Wade as a pairing but good for him.

Seems like DWade really wants to be Jordan Clarkson.

Don’t bother with any Mavs-Jazz trade proposals in the T&T forum

This is a good step for the jazz, they should work on building basketball overall in the state of Utah. Thats the biggest contribution dwayne wade can make to the Jazz if he wants.

Minimum buy in is 1% for a franchise.

Yea, you can thank the Bucks and Aaron Rodgers for that.

But that is why i ask. 1% of 1.7b is $17m. That is a lot of cash for a person. They might be worth way more than that amount, but usually it is tied up in other stuff.

Clueless about Li-Ling. How much is he getting from that?

Yeah but 5% of 1.7m is like $90m. Thats a lot of cash.

Even if it's nothing more than a name, it still can be a good investment by both parties. Wade can possibly help recruit future players and Wade could make good money if he sells later.

Magic Johnson bought 5% of the lakers in 1994 for 10 million then sold that 5% in 2010. The value of all NBA teams skyrocketed so Magic surely made good money on that sale. NBA teams don't lose value that's for sure so it's a safe investment

Not sure if this really helps jazz bc his interests in Miami heat will make sure deals between the two will favor heat. Kind of like when West did Pau-kwame trade for us when he was w Memphis
Conflict of interest.

I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.
