Get the man some more shots, especially after switches - he is punishing the small dudes on him, and getting to the line as well. Party time on Suns land!
Its starting to click for DA on that part, the Man almost seems mad everytime he is caught with a mouse in the house now.
As he should be. It should be an "automatic" basket or shooting foul if he is in the paint with a 6'6 or smaller dude on him in single coverage. Looks like that's where we are/ he is going, and I couldn't be happier about it! He really can be the baby Admiral as Shaq put it (or an Embiid 2.0) in a couple years - he always had the ability and the athleticism, and now it looks like he has the mindset, the work ethic, the proper attitude towards NBA basketball, which wasn't always the case in the past. If he stays on this path he can be on all-nba teams in a few years, which is a huge accomplishemt with the bigs in the league today.
Comes down to consistency. It seems like he's finding his role in our team, and finding ways to get his on a nightly basis. It also seems like things have slowed down and gotten easier.
I feel, in a way, that this is like another rookie year for Ayton. He's learning how to play winning basketball on both ends. And when you have CP3 as your point guard, he's going to be extremely demanding. DA has now (hopefully) adjusted to that, and is able to stand up and be counted on a nightly basis.
If it's finally clicked for Ayton....I don't know who can hang with us in the playoffs. We have so many ways to beat you. Book and CP3 from midrange, Crowder/Mikal from 3, Ayton inside, or the bench mob.
