I just don't get that last 3 attempt by Luka, there was no chance it was going in. I hope his 3pt shooting wasn't fool's gold, because it's been really ugly in the past two weeks or so.

It's nice to see him having a great passing game.

The game is way too close. Everyone but Brunson is playing alright. I can't wait for Brunson to get back to the player he was.

It's nice to see a team that tries hard defensively. Maybe RC should give them the belt.

JJ Reddick needs to shoot 60% on 3s to make up what he is giving up on the defensive side.

Unfortunately most of the other Mavs playing similar level of defense.

We know KP and Brunson are both selfish who just look for their own scoring stats, but what the heck happened to Maxi's defense? Did he just forget? Or did covid really destroy it?

This is absolutely stupid now. Knicks are getting almost every and1 call, Mavs got robbed of at least 3 of those so far.

Well this loss should settle it. I don’t know why some of you think this Mavs team is capable of any postseason success. We are primed for a 5 game series first round exit even if we get out of the play in

I think Carlisle is a decent coach. I would say he’s a good coach. The problem he has is the roster. He has two above average players in Luka and Porzingis and then there’s a big drop off to players like Hardaway and Brunson. DFS would get limited minutes on a lot of teams. Same goes for Maxi. Same goes for Powell. Same goes for Reddick. Same goes for WCS. Combine the talent drop off with the fact that Porzingis seems like he plays every third game and it’s a headache for any coach. Would Brad Stevens be more successful with this team? Would Steve Kerr? What about Nick Nurse? Or Doc Rivers? Or any coach, really? I’m very doubtful. Very doubtful of that being remotely true. Honestly, if you subtract Luka from this team you’re looking at bottom of the NBA talent. It’s cruel but it’s true. There’s no miracle worker who can save that.

This team’s three point shooting has been absolutely awful the past five or six games. They’re building brick houses out there.

It's always the same thing. Luka is 4/6 from 2 and 1/6 from 3, but he keeps shooting 3s...

Anyway, they can't get a stop, so what's the point.
