The Knicks didn't sign KD and Kyrie; DSJ hasn't been good so far; the Mavs' picks the Knicks will receive likely will not be lottery picks; but think I think Randle's play makes the KP trade look a little better in retrospect and once again proves my theory that Frank Isola is always wrong:
As a Mavs fan, I'd rather have Randle in all honesty. I wasn't a fan of trading for KP to begin with (never really considered him anything more than a solid rim protector who could stretch the floor but settled for too many threes). Sure one could make a case for Randle potentially not being a good fit next to Luka, but in the end I think Randle is a much better basketball player.
