If you are the Jazz organization, do you stick with your successful Mike Conley preservation program --- one entire game off in back to backs, or do you make him available for some limited minutes today if he says he feels great? Much as I hate to say it, I think the Jazz should probably stick with the discipline of sitting down Conley in back to backs. Missing both Conley and DM will make it very difficult to get a win today.

Today would be a great day for Clarkson to go off for one of his big games. Go Jazz!

Without Conley?! Hardly will be fair to put all the difference in Mitchell pocket.

Conley is usually out the second game of a back to back..... So who's starting in the back-court? Ingles and ?

Rotowire has updated its info to list Clarkson, Ingles, Bogey, O'Neale and Ilyasova as expected starters. Mitchell, Conley, Favors and Gobert are all listed OUT.

Yes that makes more sense --- preserve some firepower and PG ability for the bench.

The first 3 & 3/4 quarters of that game was like watching a bad summer league game.

I don't understand. If both Conley and DM are out, how you going to separate effect of their absence?

That game can be blessing in disguise. I believe that there are a good chance that Ersan can provide an important contribution just in right place of Jazz gaming scheme. And that there is (or now may be "was") even bigger chance that he will not be given a chance to prove that. One just can't prove BBIQ and shooting in 3-5 min of hectic garbage time.

His performance today may be move him over the hump. Though you can't tell with Quin, he is not as stiff and stubborn in his player policy as Sloan was. And nice stat line with by far best +- on the team in 32 min can convince him... may be, hopefully, who knows...

What's the deal lately with Oni's minutes? For most of the season he has been the young player receiving the most run, but as of late, he isn't getting it. I really like his game and hope this recent usage drop isn't a telling sign of his a ability to contribute or a luck of confidence from Q.

I was really impressed with Ersan's performance, especially considering he wasn't even on a team for most of this season and hasn't played in meaningful game minutes with the starters until now. Ersan has a quick, high release on three pointers that is difficult to block. Ersan also had four steals and two blocks.

It was clear that Joe Ingles had confidence in the veteran Ilyasova from the outset, clear that Joe Ingles was looking for Ersan and that Joe knew he could make plays with Ersan. Mike Conley would also be great at making plays with Ersan imo.

Down the final stretch of this regular season, I hope Ersan gets some more opportunities to play with our top guys in order to give Gobert, Favors and Bogdanovic some chances to rest heading in to playoffs, and to make sure Ersan is tuned up and ready to go in case the Jazz have to call on him in the playoffs.

I know we were missing key players, but geee erasing a 15 point fourth quarter deficit to lose in overtime is something tough to swallow.

I fervently pray for him not be relegated to far bench end beyond Niang and Brantley... But I don't have any confidence in that.
