We were a rebuilding team and Julius was just another one of those guys that got a big contract, and taking away from our youth. Randle was that bad last year. He was awful. Now he’s a borderline all nba player, being a leader. Complete transformation of a player. He’s having a better season than Melo ever had here. Well, now we have a real solid assessment of the situation. This isn't last year's or any other year's Julius Randle. This is a man who worked hard to improve his game. Had he played this way a half season earlier you probably would have seen KD and Irving on the Knicks.
So to those who will bring back their old posts about how they "KNEW" this would happen, relax and store those next to your Immanuel Quickly posts. It doesn't mean anything. I think of Randle now more like Khris Middleton willing to put in the work which likely means this play will continue.
Crazy in hindsight who out of that 2014 draft developed into the real stars.
