2. Houston- Suggs
3. Detroit - Mobley
4. Orlando -Green
5. Minnesota- Kuminga

Somehow Orlando lands Keon Johnson with the bulls pick.

Twolves cant get 5th, if it falls out of the top 3 it goes to GS

But im with you, i think OKC ends up jumping to #1, been thinking that all season
I think we get lucky and Pick at 2
minn will keep their pick and get 3rd
Houston falls to 4
and detroit falls to 5

OKC - Cade
Orl - Green
Minn - Kuminga, PF is their biggest hole and hes so similar to AG who they wanted
Houston - Suggs - Wall is not gonna be there long and that team is a dumpster fire and need a leader and a star, suggs fills both
Det - Take Mobley to replace drummond\Woods with an upgrade

First off... does okc have leprachauns stashed and rabbits foot galore to.be able to.bypass so many tankers to get that #1 spot?

Secondly, I think HOU goes with Mobley if they are in the 2nd spot. They have Wall and like us, they have a history with superstar Cs which they might wanna take the chance again.

Third, If 2 happens, I think DET picka Green cuz they need an alpha scorer to go along with Bey and Grants forward spot. Plus they just drafted a PG ( sure he sucks now) with a high pick this season.

OKC is literally a minor league team right now without sga. The whole team is 2nd rounders and undrafted players except for Bazley, poku and i think Guy (was Guy a 1st?). They might win another game this year. Its seriously the worst roster ive seen in a decade

Also, i dont think houston is going to base their draft pick on the current roster, no one on the roster warrants that kinda of consideration. Wall isnt anything special right now and likely wont stick around there. Im sure they are going to do anything they can to trade him or eventually buy him out. If they get #2, or any pick where suggs is available, id bet hes the guy

And yeah i can see detroit taking green for sure

Yeah I guess I see your point regarding HOU...

on that note.. do you and anyone else see of there are prima donnas in the top5? Like what others did.. refusing to workout with a team.because they dont like the fit or structure of the team? If i recall a lot of players refused SAC workouts.. Josh Jackson refused BOS workout?

im just asking that to see if it affects us or other tankera decision.

Pretty good day for the tank....Toronto tried to pull a fast one and backfired into a win....good for us, young guys played well and we gained some ground on Detroit...on to Houston....Chicago tanking is a big risk but imagine if they can get to that 6-8 range?

I think Bulls are in the perfect spot for us right now.
number 8: Bulls, 23,5% top 4 chance . 34,8 % #8, 34,1 #9
number 7: Kings, 31,9 % top 4 chance. 19,7% #7, 34,1% #8, 12,9% #9

Whats interesting is that number 9 pick historically produced more all stars than number 7 by significant number.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

if we play this right, we can really get up to #2 best odds. Game vs Pistons in 2 weeks (5/3) is a MAJOR tank game. I think Minny wins enough to move back to 4th best odds.

That would depend on the other teams NOT wanting to tank. I get the case for MIN. They probably would win as much as they want for "culture" and whatever.

DET and HOU though? I think they wanna keep losing.

Minnesota and Houston have more tangible reasons to lose. The Wolves don’t get their pick if it’s not top 3 and the Rockets get their pick swapped into the teens if it’s not top 4.

Detroit is in the infancy stages of their rebuild and need everything, so there’s not a huge difference picking 3rd v. picking 5th for them IMO.

I know. MIN and HOU have conditions in their picks thats why they HAVE to be in the top 3-4. However, unlike us DET and OKC. I havent seen any news that they were "resting" their key players.. unless they are confident that tehy will still lose even with a full lineup?

They'll be a 1/2 game lower than us. If we lose Sunday we'd be tied.

At least Washington kept pace with the Bulls, and Toronto plays OKC tomorrow.

Realistically speaking given where they are in the standings and how many games are left, the Magic are likely going to finish with the 3rd, 4th or 5th worst record.

The Bulls have a much wider range and seemingly could finish anywhere from 7th worst to 15th if they make and win the play in.

I would say that we could fall anywhere from 2-6 realistically. I think Houston is the one team that will 100% tank their way to the worst record. 3-5 is more likely though.

Looks like the Rockets are resting half their team tomorrow. Expect a W.

Question, imagine the Bulls getting a top 4 pick and us getting a pick in the 5-7 range. Would it be legal to trade picks with the Bulls and giving them their future pick back?

(Not saying we or they would want to)

Conceptually yes, as Orlando would be trading its 2022 pick (derived from the Bulls) with its 2021 pick for a 2021 Bulls pick.

I might actually expect this to occur as it would make a great deal of sense for both teams.
