Randle's transformation really is insane

he was legitimately a bad, losing player last season and now he's great

Legendary JVG rant, love to hear it.

Randle getting his much-deserved flowers.

Nice shout-out to my son RJ as well.

they draft pretty well in the top 5 tho

I think the 6-10 range is fools gold. a few stars come out of that range but it's not too different than the 10-14 range

What I’m tryna say is that the Knicks are cursed

Mills and Perry had a KP trade for Fox but the Kings weren't willing to absorb Hardaway and Lee's contracts if I remember correctly.

I remember that being the rumor but I could also see him liking Tatum b/c Tatum's game seemed like a good fit for the triangle

Dude after that win last night - I'm not thinking of tanking. It feels good. Randle makes me forgot about wanting the whiney and entitled Luka.

RJ who is vastly improved , makes me not even give a **** about Fox or Tatum. We have tons of cap space (Powell? Ball), 2 first rounders (Giddy, Ayo, Tre Mann?) We good.

I've been on the RJ bandwagon since Day 1 and have never wavered, but objectively speaking, he's not a #1 like Tatum

perfectly ok, that he's not. still a tremendous pick, but I'd absolutely love to have a a go-to scoring perimeter player.....one that's homegrown would be even better, but beggars can't be choosers, and that'd require a bunch of luck

The talent definitely seems to be there. Short term might be worth it if the rumors are true of him coming to NY is true, we can use the help in our playoff push.

yeah there's something not right here, there's gotta be something about him that's toxic

backup pgs that put up 10pts/4asts with 20mpg don't just fall out of the league randomly.

Ian Begley and Ramona Shelbourne said Phil was in love with Jackson. Begley was still working with Woj back then so I believe it. I don’t think he wanted Tatum. Especially since he was tryna force Melo out of NY that season. I doubt he wanted another light skinned scorer

I think the lesson from Tatum is that if there's a 19 yr old on the draft that's 6'7+ with a handle, makes "long 2s" at a good rate and shoots free throws well you better draft him.

It's easier to teach someone like that how to make threes than it is to teach a great athlete how to dribble (Wiggins).

I thought Jabari was gonna become what Tatum is now but more athletic.

Jabari Parker was a beast before his injuries

I remember Jabari and Melo used to have some nasty battles. He used to be so nice. Too bad he just kept getting injured

Nothing like watching two teams battle with homegrown stars.

oh yeah, the tank is dead. this 5 game win streak killed any hope of that. I'm just saying the pro-tankers intentions were noble wanting to land a top 4 pick (b/c statistically speaking that's where the Tatum-level talents come from)

I'm a Day 1 RJ believer and even I'm impressed by his improvement in year 2, developed faster than I expected. I don't think he's a #1 tho. to me, he's like a DeRozan/Butler type star

I'm still hopeful for our future. hoping we can land Ball since I still think he can reach an all-star level now that he's a solid shooter. Powell is someone they should look at too for sure. I like Trent tho he's restricted like Ball

Draft-wise, I think Bouknight has star potential and have seen him fall in most rankings due to his perceived lack of playmaking skills. Also like Mann. and tbh, I think since we have 2 1st's, we've got a chance at landing both

The Knicks are looking at Mike James.

Hope this helps.

Spoiler:
I have no idea which one you were thinking of but the joke was ripe...

 Oh crap!

It did seem like he'd be older by now, but I figured he'd be in his 30s, not 40s

This guy played on three NBA teams in his one season. Now that's a journeyman

Has anyone done a scouting report on the new Mike James

(Notice whose team he went off on, if you don’t see him, you can hear him screaming  )

It also seem he works out with NBA players so he’s a known quantity in the nba world.

I can see how Thibs might be intrigued, because his skill set looks fairly similar to the the current version of DRose whom Thibs is comfortable with.

If the guy is a douche he would either have to reform himself to play under Thibs or he'd be gone as soon as his short tour of duty were up here. People do wise up sometimes so who knows if he can adapt and be a good teammate.

Thanks, I guess he looks like a live body with a handle, penetration and a jumper. Maybe he gets a 10 day and we get to try him out
