Don't expect pat bev to be here next year.

Yeah, he has a great plus minus, but I think the playoffs will come down to wire and I really don't want bone headed fouls when they're not needed. The suns game was an example of that.

He's injured 90% of the time and often fouls out or gets ejected from the handful of games he actually plays in. The undisciplined dirty plays, the bulletin board material he gives to our opponents, it's just not worth it. Enough is enough. Mann is better than him anyway and doesn't deserve to be frozen out of the rotation.

Should have traded him this offseason.
His antics at the end of Game 2 in the Nuggets series when he decided for the rest of the team that we were done trying to come back were enough for me.
I don't know about last year but what I saw from the ojx game this year was like yeah, pat bev is not good enough to put up with the bullsh-t. Especially when we got other elite players. Him causing like a four point swing and getting frustrated in late game situation really cause me to be fed up with the guy.Quake Griffin wrote:MartinToVaught wrote:I'll just say it: it's time for the Clippers to move on from Beverley. I'd love to have Reggie back but I could see him looking for a bigger deal somewhere after the year he's had, I think we all agree he's more valuable than a minimum contract. We know Mann isn't a point guard.

Reggie is obviously worth more than a minimum, I guess the question is what kind of 'hometown' discount he might give us. I think he has found a great second start to his career here and would like to stay. I'd like for us to keep Reggie and Rondo. Beverly will be an expiring, not sure what if any trade value he will have.
We need to find a decent young point guard regardless to capably fill some minutes for us.
