RS 20/21 - Kings @ Mavs (Sunday, 7:30PM EST)

Looking back at better feelings.

Dangerous game*, but hopefully the start of a win streak.

*It's hard to believe this Kings team is on a 9 game losing streak. Fox, Hield, Barnes should be enough to win a game or two. No Holmes.

I think I’m just gonna stop watching until the play-in game. These games aren’t worth stressing over when we all know they’re not 6th seed material... Hell they might not even be 7th seed material

I was a bout to post that we should use this game to scout Holmes, a defensive 4/5 and roll partner to Luka instead of Powell, should be better than Noel who the Mavs offered to resign, but he's not playing.

i would love to have holmes.. just really hard to gauge the kings on what they would want or what their plan is..

I'm mentally preparing myself for Barnes to go full prime KD on the Mavs. I mean this team does have a talent to "gift" career games to random role players.

Offense is so stagnant. Luka cant break down centers anymore, KP runs around the perimeter and cant post up, Maxi is useless if he doesnt have a wide open three... Luckily Sacramento is bad so Dallas will probably win but if they dont start playing much better, they could lose out in the play-in.

Hey, he's now 22. You can't expect him to be able to break down centers...

Yeah, I'm hard on Luka, but he's the only great player we have and if he was at an MVP level things would be way better. You can see the start of a double-chin! He's not in shape 55 games into the season and it shows. He has trouble hitting 3s, he has trouble hitting FTs. He's the engine of the offense and it can't work if the engine can't get to those last gears.

He's still a top 10 guy in the NBA because of his talent, but he's not having a good month of April so far according to his standards.

Ugly game.

Luka's hard to watch lately, the offense is very stagnant when he's on the game and he's missing a ton of FTs and 3s, as well as short 2s.

This is the amongst the worse game streaks I remember of him. If he doesn't bounce back, he isn't even All-NBA 3rd team.

Doncic playing like he doesn't even care, so passive. Brunson forcing everything again, Jrich doesn't know how to pass to KP when he has smaller guard on him. At this point i can just laugh how bad they play. ( So far ). Maybe they'll wake up in the 2nd half.

Everything is so perimeter oriented. No defense, on offense people are just standing around, no cuts to the rim, no set blocks, we rarely see anyone run to get themselves opened up. It's just wait and see what will Luka do. I almost have the feeling Rick lost his locker room.

Well, at least the team got younger at the trade deadline and the rookies are getting better. So the team is well positioned for next year.
