For me it was always about this offseason to get into contention.

If they are in the same spot next year I'll be upset.

So this is a rebuild, but they traded for Redick and they don't play the rookies... Makes sense. A rebuild where you don't try to get younger or develop the young guys.

What can they do this offseason?

What I want to know is what happened to this team? They were one of the best team in the league for over a month when Luka played. And now they have had 6 subpar games in the last 7 games. I wad incredibly hyped, it looked like they could upset a team in the first round, they were on fire... And now that. Even if they wake up and win this one, it's still not a good game.

I would say that it could be a good idea to sit Luka for a week, but I'm scared that he's going to take 5 more pounds.

For the last time eveyone its Redick not Reddick. Trading for him did very very little if anything.

Not playing the rookies is an issue that's true, but they got 3 players who came in under odd circumstances. None of them will be more than roles players and they need more time which is ok.

The moment they made the KP trade and took on Hardaways contract there wasnt much they were going to be able to do until this summer. Yes the FA pool has dried up some, but making upgrades to the starting lineup shouldnt be hard with about 35 million in cap space.

So yes this still is a rebuild.

terrible game from luka.. im not even focusing on the 3pt% but those awful misses from the FT line. How does he balloon within a season? does he have a personal nutritionist? if yes then that person should be fired right away, if no they should get him one right after the game.

I wrote Redick. Look at what you quoted. :)

The problem with the Redick trade is not that they gave up a 2nd rounder (something that could be useful), it's that the front office doesn't know that they should consider their team like an up and coming team. They think that they can win something this year or next, hence getting Redick. If the front office doesn't know their team, I'm not sure how to trust them.

Luka is waking up. Funny, he has had a lot of bad first halves lately. I can't remember the last time he had two great halves.

If he's out of shape, how come he's doing better in the 2nd half? It's just weird.

The problem is... can they get stops.

Look at how many people are spelling it Reddick (sorry was a generalization)

The trade to me was a throw at the wall move that looked good to casuals.
