This is more blatant than anything we're doing. Resting 3 starters on a non B2B against Orlando, 2 of which are in their mid 20s. Better not pull this against us on Sunday.

These needs to be reposted on the GB. I hate myself...here I go.

Good luck out there. I don’t want to throw stones from a glass house, but they’re a legitimately good team - 2nd round kind of team - doing this and it’s going completely under the radar.

Cleveland's (20-36) next 7 games:

Detroit
Chicago
Charlotte
Washington
Toronto
Orlando
Washington

Should be good for at least a couple wins, no?

-

Orlando's (18-39) next 8:

Atlanta
NO
Indiana
Lakers
Cleveland
Memphis
Memphis
Detroit

I don't think we pass Orlando.

-

Washington's (23-33) next 4:

OKC
GS
OKC
Detroit

If OKC handles business, this should put the Wizards out of reach.

-

Kings (23-34) next 2:

Twolves Xs 2

Aside from these games and the 3 OKC games, they won't be favored in another game for the rest of the season.

-

Bulls (23-33) schedule:

Bruuuuuutal for the rest of the season. They'll be favored in maybe 2 more (detroit/cleveland), and then they play the East's murderer's row.

-

Detroit is out of reach, I think, but they have 4 games against bottom 10 teams left.

I guess we will end up with the 5th or 6th worst record (if we don't mess up against Washington).

Cleveland schedule is pretty easy and they are healthy now but....they suck. Gonna be really close.

Miami has one of the easiest schedule remaining but at least some other eastern team are winning a lot of games (Boston, Atlanta). Gonna be pretty good if they don't finish higher than the 6th spot.

Aren't teams still resting at the end of the season? Even if you have the "top x hardest remaining schedule" teams that have their playoff spot locked in or relatively locked in aren't throwing starters at you or even caring about the win.

Absolutely. It's a total crapshoot how the last 5 or 6 games of a season go. Those good teams will be playing third stringers out trying to make a name for themselves for some or in certain cases all of the game.

Yes, but has to be against the right teams, I think? Need them to beat CHI, CHA, WAS, but lose to DET, TOR,ORL.

i think so. I had hoped (predicted) that we'd catch them. But, doesn't look like we will.

yeah Clippers/Jazz probably gonna rest a lot of players against us. Even if they are fighting for playoff seed, home court advantage isn't that important this season (maybe a bit more for Utah).

Warriors probably gonna be a lock for play in tournament by the time we play them (and Kings with no incentive to win but not much to do to help their lottery odds).

Can go either way, even more if SGA comes back.

I think it’s more important for Cleveland to get wins than to try to catch Detroit. Toronto has 4 more wins than OKC, and they are currently in the play-in. I think they are safely out of distance. There is a possibility of catching Orlando, but it’s pretty low. I’d take a Cleveland win over anyone, personally.

Owning multiple future picks from a team with a top 3 worst owner is a great feeling

Sac's Fox in Covid protocol. Gonna be out at least 1 of the 3 games. Wouldn't be surprised if he just didn't play any of the 3. Gonna be an interesting end of the season tank.

Minny wins and Houston is down 20. Love that Minny isn't fully going into the tank. Edwards is starting to come around and Towns and DLo finally healthy. Maybe they'll finally turn it around with another top pick. Would be interested to see how Towns and Mobley would mesh.

Damn Cleveland is terrible. Gonna be really close with them

Glad Atlanta and the Knicks keeps winning for the Miami pick. Boston and Portland struggling sucks though

Wonder how much it will cost to move up 4-5 spots with the Miami pick if the Houston pick doesn't convey. Would something around Kenrich Williams and the Minny pick be enough? Kenrich may have some value for teams that will try to win next season.
