Not that impressive , he always makes easy passes. Nothing fancy, or slick, he's a boring passer that always passes to open or weakly guarder people in direct line of sight.

I know right. And all he’s got to show for it is the second best record in the league

Incredible. Most PG's would have 15 TO in that span. CP3 saving his team about 4 points a game with this alone.

I've previously argued that because he never forces things, he's never been able to push his team that far in the playoffs.

The lack of risk taking, or lack of ability/will to force things means his value doesn't result in the sort of heights a LeBron, Kobe or [insert superstar contemporary] achieved and works as a sort of hard ceiling on what CP3 teams are capable of.

Though CP3 is probably cerebral enough to know this. He would IF he could, but he can't, so he won't.

I think his final few moments of game 7 against Houston when he had Covington switched into him on the perimeter but decided to pass it to Dort instead of breaking Covington down and finding a shot sorta encapsulates this.

Nah, bad injury luck and poor team depth is the only reason CP3 never got a ring so far. His style is extremely translatable to playoff wins.

Interesting way to look at it. Not sure how much merit is in this, but would love to see some sort of statistical research into something like this.

I’d say that’s more applicable to his individual scoring where he’s not as aggressive to get his shot (in comparison to Steph or Dame for example) even though he’s a very efficient scorer. Not in regards to his playmaking.

“Not yet impressive” smh. Please go find another stretch in which any player ever has 46 assists in a 5 game span and commits only one turnover. Or 59 assists and 3 turnovers over 6 games. Or 30 assists 3 turnovers. It just doesn’t happen.

He's trying to help the Suns win basketball games. Not become the Harlem Globetrotters.

Nah, it's not that because if w'ere talking about game 7's, I could easily point out him hitting a crazy game winner against the Spurs.

The real problem is his teams were too flawed. He was the only threat on his teams and he is only 6'0. Bad combination.

He needed to be apart of a legit duo or play with better defenders.
