Looks like a team without their second and third best player, and only other scoring option. Playing against a guy with six fouls.

Its an ego thing, Seth should've been on the bench.

All Steph sees is a red flag when he sees his brother

I thought people knew by now that Curry’s biggest flaw is that he’s not the greatest passer lol

Steph is unbelievable. So much fun to watch. Ugh. But hate watching it against my team!

This loss is on Doc. He played terrible lineups tonight. Mike Scott is useless. Seth did nothing in the 2nd half. He left Mattise on the bench instead of having him guard Curry.

He already made this less of an issue with just making the simple pocket pass to draymond and let draymond make the good pass.

I mean sure, but the bigger issue was Shake playing like complete ass, and no Ben and Tobi.

Do not trade Maxey. I'd much rather trade Shake at this point.

Yep but I’d rather take that game-plan in knowing beforehand then not double Curry without Klay there. Curry will bomb away 10+ threes with ease as seen tonight. What happened tonight that’s on Doc
Give Curry a greenlight and his brother on him is asking to lose.

This is Doc’s loss

Without Harris we don't have other PF outside of Scott unless we put Matisse there. It's what it's sadly.

What i would say however is that Doc lost the game by insisting in having Shake as the PG for long stretches of the game, the only time he went away from it in the fourth, the team looked better.

We need a secondary ball handler bad and that's why we traded for George Hill, you can't relegate him to be a spot shoter on the corner.

Shake need to play more off ball.

Shake’s play was rough, but you can’t let curry essentially dribble into practice threes for most of the game. A few had higher degrees of difficulty, but plenty were like warm up shots. You rather anyone else beat you, even with wide open looks. Just seemed like arrogance not to double him, especially when their entire time is focusing on embiid.

WTF happened - I missed it.

Why did Ben not play?

Prob took them lightly.

Management and coaching staff are overly confident in getting the 1st seed.

This was unfortunately a bad game for Hill to come back. That ending for him didn’t go well.

Ben, non covid Illness.

Jo played well the first half. SHake was horrible, Seth was good the first half. Steph went nuclear, and the Warriors doubled like crazy. Wouldn't let Jo get into a rhythm and our shooters were horrible.

Outside of the hot stretch at the end he had a negative on/off for the game. He was on cheat mode at the end and you can't do too much against it.

Outside of that we had 12 mins without Steph out there, that's the moment we should have build a lead and we couldn't because we did bad rotations and force feed Shake

Shake is not a facilitator
Curry is not a facilitator
Hill is an off ball facilitator/not primary (taller Curry but better less flawed).
Maxey needs a jumpshot to make it stick (Overdrafted relative to his position).
Thybulle has to shoot at more volume for him to stick long minutes

Ben somehow is still our best facilitator even with his below average halfcourt game which isn’t saying much

Green, Harris, Embiid somehow play their role as intended because they aren’t flawed.

We looooooooooooove drafting flawed players and moving on from sound ones. Then doubling down and mismanage their roles

Hey but Green turning into an iso scorer for a game was fun.

Doc ain’t a great coach fwiw.

The ceiling of this team is capped out on Embiid/Ben like in the beginning. One got a lot a better but his defense has waned.

one got worse (packed on size for strength which I get for defense but his mobility on offense is a stark contrast was very fluid in his rookie year, now he his very stiff).

Different year same story.

Yea the Shake minutes were bad, but Golden state probably should have spammed the curry / Draymond pick and roll earlier. We weren’t stopping it earlier either, GS just seemed like they wanted to get others involved. That’s not a reason to defend it how we did. I can understand how trapping or doubling the entire game because you’ll tired out embiid, but should have started doing it the last five minutes or so. Put it this way, if we were playing this exact roster in the playoffs, there’s no way we would defend Curry how we did. If you want to say it’s a regular season game so we don’t want to expend effort with traps, fine I guess, but I think it was more the ego curry vs curry thing.
