Yup he's playing well. Starting to move better and smarter defensively. Maybe he's learning from the king :o

I was thinking watching the game that he reminds me of someone when he grabs the defensive boards, a player from a previous era who also wore wristbands. Point is, I need to go to bed.

PS: I think it's Karl Malone he reminds me of when he grabs the defensive rebound. It's a totally random observation but whatever it's a pandemic year.

I dont fault the Knicks for drafting Knox.

everyone knew the risk: he had the highest ceiling but lowest floor. We should just be honest about it though, hes a mental midget, a bust, soft, and hasn't improved in 3 years.

All Bullock does is literally camp the 3pt line and shoot 40%. Knox has shown 0 ability to take that job away from him. It really says it all, and he was touted as a guy who was supposed to be a great shooter.

It's not really random cause he gets a lot of comparisons to big men from the 90's. So i can see why you say that. But it's amazing to see his growth from his rookie year to now defensively. Looked like kanter in college and now he is pretty good. I don't know many players that made those type of leaps on defense like that before, especially for a big man. The best part about his defense is how well he moves for a big. Allows him to switch onto pretty much anyone. If he continues to grow on both ends, I see him as a top 3 center in the league imo.

There is still time to repent on Hayes.

You're right he's a throwback. But he really has the same posture and mannerisms as Karl Malone on the defensive glass, only a little less ferocious and without the unnecessary, jaw-shattering elbows.

I'm glad Ayton's panning out because I'll always miss 90s ball when legit big men controlled the paint. Not that it was better (or worse), it just brings back memories. I'm pleasantly surprised by Ayton's development, to say the least. Hopefully he keeps it up.

Already better than Payton, and young enough to be Obi's grandson.

Hayes turning into a good player bodes well for me. Means I only missed on one player in the draft (obi)

He looks like a vet in this video with the way he's setting up his team mates

I like the Hayes archetype far more than a lot of flashier point guards in today's NBA.

Game went too fast for him early on and he was trying to catch up instead of slowing the game down to play at his own pace.

He's gonna be a very good NBA point guard I think. It's just gonna take him longer to reach his ceiling, similar to RJ.

That's why I love guys like Embiid, Ayton, Bam, Zion, Giannis. They dominate the paint. Those are my favorite type of bigs. Shaq is my favorite big man of all time by the way, which you probably would've gussed lol

Your guy Jokic is having himself a great game tonight btw. Pretty surreal year by him. Best Euro player in the league. Sorry luka.

Yeah, and it's not even close. Jokic is more efficient, more unselfish, tougher and more fun to watch too.

Jokic killing the Grizzlies, my God.

Honestly, reminds me of Payton in that defenses will figure out it's better to just sag off him rather than allow the penetration, because he's just not an outside threat.

Jokic also doesnt complain to the refs like 2398293203923438493048390803823 times like Luka. Plus he's pretty humble and not cocky. Pretty rootable player
