Yes. If we end up tied, I think the flip a coin or something like that.RookieStar wrote:wow good for DET and good for us. If we lose tom do we go 3rd?

Also been in a fantasy Build-a-Franchise league the past few years on the Knicks board with everybody keeping the same team year by year and it incorporates free agency/draft stuff. I think most of my picks were late first rounders (27-30) or late seconds (like 55-60) and I had drafted Dort, Chuma and Pritchard before the actual drafts took place in the last few years. Gonna go join the Magic scout team brb.

coin toss? yikes...not going with record like who beat who and by how much?
In the event that teams finish with the same record, each tied team receives the average of the total number of combinations for the positions that they occupy. Should the average number not be an integer, a coin flip is then used to determine which team or teams receive the extra combination. The result of the coin flip is also used to determine who receives the earlier pick in the event that neither of the tied teams wins one of the first four picks via the lottery.

Orlando is 1 1/2 game worse than #5 Thunder
Orlando is 1/2 better than #3 Pistons
With the Bulls and Wizards wins:
Chicago is 9/10
Chicago is 1 game worse than #11 Pelicans
Chicago is 1 1/2 game better than #8 Raptors
As importantly, the Bulls is tied for the final play-in slot with the Wizards.
Q: Does anyone know the rules for breaking the tie-break for the play-in seeding?

i wish they would win tonight it would be great to keep some distance but OKC doesn't have enough firepower against beal and westbrook....they got a bunch of 2k created players playing for them right now

First there is an equal split of lottery balls. If after the lottery, the teams are still tied, then it is a coin flip to break the tie.
EDIT: if there is an odd-number of lottery balls after combining them and dividing them, then there is a coin flip for the last lottery ball. It is the same flip; not two separate flips.
Here:In the event that teams finish with the same record, each tied team receives the average of the total number of combinations for the positions that they occupy. Dude: I look at the Magic box-scores and still ask that question.
Franks, Randle, and Cannady just combined for nearly 50 minutes in a game Orlando could have won, for example. THe Magic's "best" player was Dwayne Bacon, and if half of non-Magic fans even know who he is, they really need to go outside more.
