There was nothing "historically stacked" about the 2015 or 2016 Warriors if you remove Curry. Everything historical about those teams all involves Curry being on the roster. Such as shattering 3 point records, winning a unanimous MVP, and leading a team that would be breaking the dynasty Bulls win/loss record.

If it wasn't for Lebron, Curry would have owned this league from 2015 and onwards. Try again.

Same story this year, when he’s not surrounded by multiple stars and superstars he can’t elevate his game and the teammates around him and win against a healthy opponent. I would bet he will try to use injury to shut it down this year too.

His legacy has taken a brutal hit the last year and counting. He’s more a system player than a superstar .

steph can boost his legacy if he continues to play like this in the playoffs if he even makes it. he has shown he can flex and shimmy when his teams are the overwhelming title favorites. got to be better than the 9th seed though even if you don't have multiple prime mvps/all-stars on the team like he is accustomed to.

What Harden did was absolutely impressive that month, averaging 32 ppg with impressive efficiency - no doubt about it (and I thought no one would surpass the play that month). Curry though, is doing it just a little bit better in April. For April, Curry is averaging 40+ppg on 55/50/91 shooting splits, he's hit 72 x 3's in 10 games on 50% shooting, he's hit 50 x 3's in 6 games - these have never been done before.

I think the biggest difference is Harden can score from absolutely anywhere whereas Curry is simply a better pure shooter.

Really, both Harden and Curry are just incredible players.

history has already proven you comically wrong. this is flat earther level denial at this point.

come back to this discussion when curry spend the rest of his career being on a team thats fighting for a 7-8th seed playoff spot with no hopes of contention.

He had a torrid stretch throughout 2019 but not anywhere near this level of efficiency.

Lebron won 60 games with Mo Williams as his 2nd best player. Let’s not start narratives that aren’t even close to being true.

And if the question is which superstar has won a title without having quality teammates? The answer is zero. So that’s not a narrative either.

Let’s not split hairs just because two things aren’t exactly alike. No two things are exactly alike.

Harden had higher volume, Curry had higher efficiency, and both were/are incredible, historic feats of elite scoring.

Harden had elite shooters he could pass too and routinely fished for fouls, to the point where fans hated watching him play.

Curry doing this with the least spacing in NBA history and not a single competent offensive teammate he can pass too which leads to him being doubled and triple all game, while still not getting any foul calls is far more impressive.
