All news outlets are reporting the verdict is now in for former police officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd last year. The verdict will be read approx. 4:30pm EDT.

Yeah, statistics say you're right.

The longer a jury takes usually means there's dissent or some who want to acquit. A fast verdict usually means GUILTY.

We shall soon see.

In the meantime, police presence on all streets is about to be high. Stay alert!!

6 Black jurors would not have allowed a not guilty verdict less than a day after deliberating. There would have been a day or more of arguing. My guess and hope is GUILTY!

Chauvin's face as the judge reads guilty on all charges is the face of a guilty man knowing his slim hope of escaping incarceration is gone with the wind
