Breonna Taylor would still be alive if there was no war on drugs.

The war on drugs is the biggest waste of American resources there is.

I have a family member who has used drugs now for more than 50 years. Despite this effing war, he can find drugs, including hard drugs, any time he wants - simply by making a phone call.

Madness.

From all indications, the defense team was a whole new level of bad. The 'carbon monoxide' angle was downright stupid.

And I'm okay with that. Chauvin deserves no less than life in prison.

Slim hope that other cops wake up and start acting right. Very slim.

Yeah. Just raising something absurd sets off the BS alarm. Jury is not dumb. Looks like a losing side flailing away. He should have asked for mercy from jury directly. Meant to act reasonably, tried to, but I can't honestly say I did. Something like that.

Is it tricky and 2020 hindsight? Yeah. But you eliminate the crazy stuff and take on the elephant in the room: What was he thinking? That's what everybody wanted to know. Not carbon monoxide stuff.

Nah he'll be in prison. Very hard to win an appeal. His hope is to get out early.

His hope is to not get Dahmer'ed. He's about to learn the meaning of existential fear.

And again, I'm okay with that.

Let's not forget how the Minneapolis Police Department started this whole thing off in the wake of murdering Floyd:

he should really get life in prison, but will get less than 40.... too bad he'll be in solitary because otherwise he'd probably not survive the entire sentence.

I dont think the Jury needed anything more than that 9 minute video. The defense sucked but you cant argue against clear video evidence. The true hero is the girl who had to watch and record that traumatic video while being unable to help. I hope she realizes she did help more than anyone.
There's something about an underdog that really inspires the unexceptional.

George Floyd couldn't breath as he was being murdered by Chauvin.

Now that Chauvin has been convicted on all counts, I feel like a weight is off my chest and I can breathe again. Thank God for this verdict.

Without it, I woudn't be able to feel there is any justice in this country. George Floyd matters. I hope this is a start!

True nothing he could do to argue against what we saw. He also received like 50 warnings from everybody around him, including George. Just insane and horrific.

When Jeffrey Dahmer was in jail, people said he'd never survive. When he was found dead, there was no investigation. And nobody gave a damn.

Some people do the unspeakably evil in this world, and sometimes the world fights back. Although it would be wrong for Chauvin to be killed in prison, I don't give a damm.

Yeah she is insane. I get the relief but not the smiles or any thank yous. He died in the worst possible way. His family can feel any way they want, including joy, but Nancy? Weird.

its disgusting playing the political game to say thank you to someone who shouldn't be dead and was murdered in broad daylight.

And as far as I'm concerned, so long as police stay silent when the "bad" cops abuse their power, there are not "good" cops. The entire system needs radical adjustment, if not get torn down altogether.

Jeffrey Epstein was in solitary as well, but "committed suicide." Point is, where there's a will there's a way. I don't think he'll be in jail long.
