Shamet's improvement is huge for us. He's been flashing legit PG skills. Didn't think he had that in his bag. Snaking PNRs, attacking bigs on isos, getting to the rim. Good decisions all around. Good to see we can use him there in case of emergency or as a secondary ball handler. He's been amazing the last few months. Glad he turned it around because he was straight awful early. Props to him.

Bruce was just a savage today. No chance we win without his energy. He was all over the place.

Tomorrow would've been a perfect game to punt but we literally don't have enough players to rest guys. SMH.

This 100%. Shamet reaching Dinwiddie level right now, he's shooting is absolutely absurd right now. As a fit you can make a case he's a better fit.

I'm eating Crow azz right now for the stuff I said earlier this year.

This win was an important one. Kyrie came through with the clutch shots and defensive stop in the end. He is awesome to watch and we are lucky to have him. As long as he is healthy he is exactly the player needed for a championship run. Forget about ranking him, never liked comparing every star to others. Doesn’t really mean anything in the end. Not sure who is playing tomorrow. Season has been rough with these BTB games.

Current top ten players. I'll take 20 some Luka and Tatum over him any day. They clutch and lead their team to PO every day.

No one said Kyrie is top 10 though. Top 15? Definitely

Luka and Tatum better players than Kyrie just by looking how many games they play, forget anything else. Your best ability is a availability. Rest get disected after. Guy goes MIA at will and looking at his injury history is nothing to brag about.

Lol he missed like 10 games this and youre butthurt.

Tatum and Luka are both underperforming.

The Celtics were supposed to be competing with the top teams in the East and are barely above .500

The Mavs are a fringe playoff team after everyone thought they would take the next step

Uh, he's missed 17 games, and that's likely going to be 20 by the time the season is over with load management. In an already shortened-season. That's a lot.

And I'm glad that he has missed those games because that wear and tear adds up, as we see with Harden who got rode into the ground.

That being said, who is arguing that Kyrie is top 10? LeBron, KD, Harden, Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Steph, AD, Luka, Leonard or Dame are the top 10. After that, Kyrie is in the conversation for the next 5 spots.

If we can just get a rotation of Harden, Irving, Harris, Durant, Jordan, Claxton, Griffin, Green, Shamet and Brown for the next 2 months we will win a title.

C'mon man, do I have to highlight every time.

Dame has mamba mentality, Curry does, CP etc. I'm not comparing all around player and accomplished stuff, talking about mentality.

Kyrie will be checking out at times, can't have him there.

As I said multiple times, he don't play enough games for my likings. Talent alone, for sure, but that's just not how it works.

I think it's fair to hold missed time against him. I don't think Tatum is actually better than Kyrie yet though. I don't think he's on his level offensively, although Tatum is a defensive stud already.

You guys are nuts.

Kyrie is putting up nearly 30 points on nearly 50/40/90 efficiency on one of the best teams in the NBA.

How is he not top 10? At worst hes top 12.

He certainly not top 20. Not even close.

I mean, other guys are putting up monster numbers too and have played more than he has. Those are facts.

If we give everyone the benefit of the doubt of being healthy, then he's the 3rd best player on his own team. And you have LeBron, Kawhi, Davis, Curry, Lillard, Jokic, Luka, Embiid, Giannis...those are all the guys that are crystal clearly better than Kyrie, and that's 11, and there are a bunch of debatable players beyond that, who I won't get into, because there are quite a few. I'd take a few of them to put Kyrie closer to 20 than 10.

3rd best player on a team where the other 2 are never healthy.

I don't see how Dame is "clearly" better than Kyrie. Or Luka either.

Kyrie has better efficiency than either of them. And weve already seen him be the best player on Celtics teams that were better than either of those teams this year.

I have Kyrie as top 10.

I could understand why someone wouldn't have there. But acting like its clear cut to me is stupid.

I would have him 12th or 13th at worse. Acting like hes closer to 20 to 10 to me is just stupidd.

KD
LeBron
Steph
Kawhi
Harden
Giannis
Embiid
Jokic
Davis

Those are the only guys I would personally put above Kyrie.

yea Kyrie thats how you finish a game !!! Kyrie was great tonight, but one thing I can't stand is when he misses a shot he doesn't get back on defense, he jogs up the floor and is the last one up which results in other team scoring. It happens alot. But he was A1 tonight and he was our closer.

Both Joe and Shamet stepped up like I said we needed them too. Both was aggressive in attacking the rim and shot the 3 well. Both are underrated in taking it up to the rim. Shamet has a good bounce to him and some decent handles, he's been stepping it up.

Green and Dj played well. Bruce Brown was a dog tonight, making steals and tough rebounds when we needed it. Blake was also great, taking charges and making timely passes. This was a team effort and just what we needed.

Zion and INgram are going to be a great duo. I think the Pels need to get rid of Adams, they need to open up the lane more. I like Ball but idk he kinda seems bored out there at times, can't put a finger on it. I just don't understand why Pels are this bad when they have some nice young pieces there. Anyway, off to Toronto, I can't stand fat annoying Lowry.

I'm looking forward to watching this one from home after work. It sounds like the good, bad and ugly of this injury-ravaged Nets team was on full display, and we still managed to pull a W out of the fire.

I'll be interested to see who is available tomorrow. Long flight for a short turnaround, and the Lowry-less Raptors have been playing decently well. We may have to forfeit if another couple guys have to sit. Time to dig deep.

Go Nets!

This wasnt the worst we have seen of TLC. he made all the awful mistakes he always makes, but he also hit some open threes late and hit his clutch FTs in the 4th. frustrating tonight but he do more good then bad

Mental midget? all he does is get destroyed by the media and fans and conitues to play like a superstar, come up huge in the clutch, and drop 30 on elite efficiency. #1 in the NBA in 4th quarter scoring the past 5 seasons and top 3 this year.

He isnt as good as curry... ok, how many guys are? He is every bit as good as Lillard.
