Meh, he was due for a stinker, he’s been on a ridiculous hot streak.

And Raps always play us like it’s their personal Finals anyway, this was kind of expected.

Kyrie had a great chance to make it a one possession game but missed the wide open pull up 3. Raps sealed it with two consecutive flops from Lowry and FVV at the end. Given how many of our shots looked short tonight, I'd chalk it up to fatigue more than anything.

9 players on a tail end of a back to back on the road is pretty much a loss. At least we didn't get blown out.
What's really infuriating is that a tanking Raps team decided to bring back its best players and turn up tonight. It's like they really really wanted to beat us. It showed in their performance too.

I can't even get mad. Back to back with half our team injured.

Raptors were making like 90% of their 3s. At least we fought till the end.

We don't even lose ground to Philly since they lost tonight.

On a back to back game and with only 9 players they did well. Tired legs. Doesn’t mean anything.

Great game all things considered. Everyone played well. Legs just werent there, We had them until the second half when we were slow to close out and missed wide open shots short. that just fatigue. Back to back on the road is one thing... doing it with just 9. guys is another. Kyrie would have had like 20 assists if our guys had legs. shamet/green/blake had tons of open looks, legs not there.

Shameful flopping by the raps.

on to the next one

Kyrie was fantastic again setting up teammates left and right. he was an elite playmaker tonight. guys werent hitting wide open shots he set up. he had to look for his own shot. he had 6 assists in the first quarter. he would have had tons more but guys missed wide open looks.

He nearly had a 30 point triple double, was unreal on defense, and was unselfish all night. if anything, he didnt look for his own shot enough.

We get it, you hate him. get over it.

our legs died on us. They just spanked us in the 3rd quarter, they couldn't miss a shot out there. Whatever, it was a b2b night, Shamet shot horrible and Raps wasn't letting Joe Harris get any shot off. I just can't stand fat rat Lowry and those craptor fans. Hope KD and others are ready friday, we are going to need them against Foston.

Bruh, I don’t even know how I fell asleep after the 2nd quarter. Just woke up to see that we lost. Meh. Seems like everyone fell asleep out there today.

I wish we actually got blown out so we could’ve rested Kyrie/Blake within the game and gotten them some rest heading into this weekend. I don’t personally think Kyrie or Blake should’ve played today.

It’s going to be virtually impossible to get them any days off with Boston and Phoenix next.

I want Scarlett Johannsen. An old rich man wants youth, a young poor man wants wealth. We can want 'til the cows come home, it doesn't make it real.

As the saying goes, you can wish in one hand, $#!+ in the other and see which one fills up first.

I'm pleased with our effort tonight. Not satisfied. Onto the next one. Go Brooklyn.

"More" then this is steph curry dropping 45+ on 10 threes a night. Kyrie isnt curry and that should not be held against him. He isnt a top 5 player.

I think asking more then 30 point triple doubles, 40 point nights, and clutch/game winning shots most nights is an unfair ask.

Knicks/ - 40 points, game winning shots
Heat - poor shooting night, didnt get it done late
Pelicans - 30+ points, 8 straight points final 2 minutes to give us the leads, clutch FTS, game winning steal
Raps - 30 point triple double, teammates didnt hit wide open shots, he missed a late three that would have given us a chance.

The only guys doing more then that are the MVP types: Lebron, Curry, KD. Harden, Kawhi.

Look at embiid. dropped liek 38/17 and it wasnt enough with simmons and others out. its hard to will a short handed team to a win every night. especially 2nd of a back to back, on the road, with 9 players active

Yeah like Kyrie isn’t as good as Harden, KD, Curry and those guys, but it’s legitimately hard to ask more of him in terms of ability. He’s scored 30 points 13 times this year and has really only a few “bad” games. The hawks second game this year and then the Miami game.

He’s not an overwhelming volume scorer per se. he can get you 25-28 on excellent efficiency, but it’s within the flow of the offense. his free throw date keeps him at bay sometimes when his jumper isn’t falling (which is very rare), but when his jumper isn’t falling he still makes smart/savvy passes, spaces the floor and makes some pretty nice defensive plays. He’s also averaging over 1 offensive rebound per fame, which is wild for a 6’2” guy. He’s also probably one of the league leaders in deflections, and over the last three weeks, he’s had two game-ending/game-sealing defensive plays (Randle, Zion).

He won’t go on a curry like run, but since he was in Boston, he’s been a very steady and pretty well rounded player.

Dude did you just compared subb 500 trash to top 3 team? Bucks and Philly on a same tier, one player in or out will make difference. Its not the case vs sub 500 team. Ridiculous, I get it you cool with Kyrie being top20 player, sorry to disappoint you I'm not. Guy in his prime years, he can take next step imo.
