Maybe that’s the cynical fan in me. But I felt like we badly needed to clean house and it’s long overdue and it starts at the top.

How do we get rid of our owners? Friggin finance bros at the top

I figured there would be no way to ever get rid of the Steinbrenners. I was thinking more of Cashman.

Honestly if you want to run the strategy the Yankees are doing, go for the playoffs and hope to get hot, Cash is pretty good at it. The mindset to chase dominance has to come from the owners though. We’re at a severe disadvantage compared to the Dodgers.

Ban this troll!

Yes, he is showing the best ERA of any starter in history. But it may rise all the way up to 1 by the end of the season. LOL

Didn't clint hit the outfield wall during spring training? I wonder if his struggles have anything to do with contusion. But they are supposed to be really on top of that.

I have not seen a Yankee team that has looked so much like azz since those late 80's/early 90's teams. Thank God for the rise of the Knicks this season.

The 2013 Yankees played over their heads and were able to win 85 games. The 2021 Yankees with all the talent they have on their roster have had their worst start in 30 years.

Joe Girardi, still pissed Cashman let him go. That 2013 team had a regular lineup of Lyle Overbay, a washed up Vernon Wells, Ben Francisco, Stephen Drew.

I kinda want this year to be full on sh*tshow just to see what changes are made.

This organization is long in the tooth from the front office, to the coaches, to the players. It’s about time they get a reality check.

Never understood the Girardi hate by many Yankee fans. People hated this guy just as much as Knicks fans hate Dolan, yet he was able to help lead the Yankees to a title and through a rebuild period. His decisions at times were questionable and his character wasn't as charming as Joe Torre's was, but he is a far superior manager than Aaron Boone. Since 2019 the Yankees have regressed under Boone. Guys like Sanchez, Gleyber, Stanton and Judge have gotten worse. Boone reminds me of Eric Mangini; he has zero personality and charisma.

I even think he was a superior manager than Torre. Ya he would butt heads with his players but he brought out the best in them and would defend his players to if it meant him being thrown out of a game, or going after the media, he would be out there going after the opposing pitcher willing to get fined and ejected. He won NL manager of the year with the Marlins, and will win with the Phillies. Boone
is a good guy but not a manager.

NY fans want a nose to the grind stone type of coach who will call it like it is and bring out the best in his players,I have that confidence with Thibs and Joe Judge, Boone is just a puppet to the Yankees analytics team.

Cole pitching against the Tigers was so unfair to watch lmao

Yankees need to have that kind of offense every game. Them having an outburst against the Tigers’ pitching doesn’t really mean anything.

We can just hope this wakes them up for the rest of the season.

Why TF do the Yankees give Cole so much run support but not the lesser starters?

Maybe cause there's much less pressure to perform when Cole is on the mound? I mean he may very well be the best starting pitcher in Yankee history when it's all said and done. He's certainly peaking higher than any Yankee starter I've ever seen.
