Team looks lifeless without Ben part: MCVIII

We're built so fundamentally flawed that we literally look like a bottom 3 team on both ends of the floor without our non shot creating shot creator.

Fast forward to the offseason already

Will say our over reliance on mid range and two points in general makes it hard to come back in games like this

Our shooters are the most inconsistent in the league apart form Danny. We give up way too many threes for my liking. I know it's a defensive adjustment. But as you said when teams get hot, it's hard for us to comeback against them.

So we really need a full roster just to win a game?

From the look of this game, we're going to need to run a 14 man playoff rotation to win a game.

Yes? Team relies on each guy to do something have no other guys able to step in and fulfill that role.

Also the Bucks are a damn good team... Jrue gives them another guy who can get people good looks. Bledsoe wasn’t that. Also Jrue can check most teams best player which allows Giannis to roam. Now it will be left to be seen if their shooters stay this hot but I think they might be able to get over that hump this year finally.

We on the other hand need to figure some things out big time. The bottom line is that we may not have enough firepower to keep up in a shoot out which means our defense has to be on the top of its game at all times... Ben helps that aspect a lot but still despite everything this team might be their own Jrue level addition away IMO

Don’t see it happening as Giannis is still too limited

We’re okay. I didn’t expected us to win either of the two games without Ben Simmons on the road against a very good Bucks team.

What we need is to focus on the last 12 games of the season and grab that #1 seed.

As Sixer fans, we are pretty bipolar....one instant we blame Ben for alot that is wrong with the team, but when he's not playing its 'Well we didn't have Ben'.

End of the day, this team does have to be totally intact and healthy, just like most teams, to win anything. Only the Nets have proven they can win without, that's just something we do in spurts.

I like how the team came out and competed even though the Bucks were just on fire. Anytime a team shoots 40 3s and makes half of them, your in trouble. The next game will tell alot about this team.

It will be interesting to see what adjustments will we make for the next game...if we lose again, it will be our 4th loss in a row, I don't expect this to happen. Btw, I didn't watch the game, but how come G Hill who is supposed to be a point guard had zero assists?

I do. We are not that good without Ben Simmons.

Nice, we have 2 point guards, one wont shoot and one wont pass, winning formula.

Yep because it’s so flawed, Ben is actually our best running engine room (shooting/scoring aside) he generates the most dividend (Threes) for the teams output so to speak.

Individual scoring is different to team offense, that’s why I kind of shudder when people use per 100, ortg it doesn’t give you the full scope.

All we need is the rug that ties the room together. But it’s basically been like that since the beginning not much has changed.
