The NBA needs to shorten their seasons to 50 games. It is ridiculous how certain teams can mail it in for 2 months and still finish as a top 5 seed while other teams have to play extremely hard for an entire season just to avoid a play-in tournament. But we all know that Adam Silver is going to continue doing whatever it takes to appease one particular superstar's ego. As long as guys like Lebron are in this league super teams, stars quitting on their teams in the middle of the year and joining contenders, and load management will be the norm.

Yea, he would be a nice upgrade, but its hard to see how we could outbid the Lakers. They pretty much have to overpay and keep him. But I am all for bidding him up just to mess with the Lakers.

I'm leaning more towards MIA. We could use as much of a cushion as we can get to hold on to the 4th/5th seed.

The day we get someone who isn't in the bottom 10 starting PGs in the NBA should be a board holiday. Amazing how long they have said, "yep, band aid is good enough for the bullet wound".

My plan A)

1-> Hope that the Clipps get knocked out in round one, then go hard after Kawhi through backchannels
2-> Send Obi + Knox + more package for Brogdon
3-> Extend Randle, Mitch, Noel, Bullock, Taj, Rose on fair deals

Start -> Brogdon, RJ, Kawhi, Randle, Mitch
Bench -> IQ, Rose, Bullock, Noel

That team would have a good chance at the title for the next 2-3 seasons and that's all you can ask for.

Honestly haven’t studied him in-depth, but from what I’ve seen, I love his speed,size,ability to get his shot off, and his jumper definitely looks like it’ll translate, especially because of his FT shooting.

His improvement from his freshman year to now reminds me of the leap Haliburton took.

I wouldn’t question taking him at all, with Bryant here he has the ability to turn into a SGA type player if he can get his defense together.

BUT I just love me some Butler. His defense, playmaking and shooting has me sold on him next to IQ as a floor general.

There’s no reason we couldn’t take both, and develop them. I always had a feeling we will find a way to take BJ with one of our picks, but to me Butler + Mann + maybe Kofi may have more upside.
