Wishing him the best. Honestly, he could use some time away- he’s not wired for tanking...the stress of watching his team play like this could legit affect his health. Mental health break.

This is terrible, hopefully it's just a false positive or he'll remain asymptomatic. Wishing him all the best.

Considering he's the head coach, I'm a little surprised no players were deemed close contact and forced to sit out as well

Re: Shams: Clifford tests positive for coronavirus
I haven't been vaccinated at all yet (I will be soon), but I actually caught COVID pretty bad a while back and tested positive for antibodies.
Figured I wouldn't cut the line for someone else who doesn't have the antibodies.
Wishing Clifford the best.

They should keep the players that are already out separated from the team for a few weeks.

Re: Shams: Clifford tests positive for coronavirus
Fine. I’ll say it....
Does anyone else find it extremely coincidental that Clifford “tests positive” for Covid for the first time this entire season after his blow up post- New Orleans game?
I do.
Hot take. I’m willing to bet we saw him coach his last game for Orlando if not this season, then completely. Now, should I be completely wrong I’ll eat all the crow, and get well soon Clifford.

Can you even fake test results when you send it to the NBA head office? Unless Silver accepts our FO's wink-wink along with a couple of stacks for a...ummm... donation?
But you brought up an interesting conspiracy theory by our FO. They must have pity on Cliff coaching these craptastic lineups we forced him to field and thus wants him to be at peace and ready for next season when we get our "vets" ready.

I just watching Fox news Orlando and Steve Clifford said he had the 2nd shot of Moderna on Thursday. That's not 7 to 14 days past the 2nd shot.

No idea how you guys do your tests and document but over here if you've already been tested and have the documentation, yes, it is very (alarmingly) easy to fake.

No vacine is 100% corona-proof. But once you get covid19 after vaccine, COV19 simply can't ruin you as much as it could if you didn't.
Also it takes around 3 weeks to have enough anti-bodies in system, after first dosage.

Absolutely...you can still get it and spread it, but you’ll generally have very manageable symptoms. That’s why knuckleheads who think they don’t need to get it because everyone else is are in for a rude awakening.

i was against idea of giving vaccine to young people, but i have access to data of some local hospitals and for sure, everybody should consider getting vaccine. I've seen early 30s , very good shape people with nasty pneumonias and months of rehabilitation.
Also buddy of mine and I were talking about how when we were young kids in 1996-1999 we had group vaccine at school, nobody asked our parents anything,we were all getting poked , and we would got like 1 cube of sugar, some of kids would have nasty reactions but we were kids, we laughed it off and played soccer after

Now parents read some BS on internet and 30% of them won't do most basic vaccine , anti- 1900s illneses that should have been exterminated years ago. "Vaccine got my kid autism" yea...because your kid kid didn't talk before vaccine and you thought it's normal, than you gave it vaccine and kid still didn't talk. Shocking, must be vaccine
Paranoid parents with autsm claims strike my nerve on special levels...

A lot of black Americans don't trust the government, because of the Tuskegee project.pepe1991 wrote:Skybox wrote:pepe1991 wrote:

Re: Shams: Clifford tests positive for coronavirus
Yeah the government has a track record of screwing with black, native and poor populations.
Having said that, this is not a government vaccine. It's not even given by the government. I wouldn't trust sputnik or sinovax, but I'm 5 days out from my 2nd moderna.
Wish you well Steve.
