Prediction time!

Post#1 » by jazzfan1971 » Mon Apr 26, 2021 6:06 pm

Time for you to put your predictions down in black and white.

Here is mine: NJ over LAL. AD asks for a trade near next years trade deadline. NJ on his short list.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

I don’t have NJ even making the playoffs

Masai is overrated.

AD just signed a 5 year contract and is on the title favorite. Asking for a trade away from Lebron? You crazy lol.

I'll say Philly/Nets ECF. Jazz/Lakers WCF. LAL over New Jersey for the ship. Rudy DPOY. Curry MVP (homer prediction based on their easy schedule to close). Randle MIP.

I thought this was going to be a serious prediction thread until I read the OP.

BKN gets bounced in the 2nd round 4 1 and the team is being blown up after less than one season.

DEN loses in 1st round despite Jokic averaging 33/12/11.

LAL crawl their way into the WCF just to get swept.

*edit

where can i place my bets?!

Lakers over Sixers in 5.

Afterward we all feel stupid thinking that a rested Lebron and friends would have any problem getting another ring in another shortened season... Which will be his 3rd shortened season ring

1. Miami beats Brooklyn in 7 in the second round.
2. Sixers beat Miami in 6 in ECF.
3. Clippers and Lakers goes to 6 with Lakers advancing.
4. LeBron averages 37 ppg in the Finals and wins Finals MVP.

Lakers 4x2 Nets, without a lot of drama, defense + great offense > all time offense only, also the star trio wont play all games on the playoffs because of injuries

The Jazz and Suns wont be in the conference finals too, both will be examples that regular season is pretty different from the playoffs

Gobert will be just an average center in the playoffs and be schemed against.

Jokic will make a even more insane stat line without Murray

Miami will be dangerous again

Bucks wont come off the East, Giannis will struggle again due lack of shooting range

Bogdanovic will play very well on the playoffs and GB will make a lot of jokes on the Bucks

My kind of thread. I’m going way out on a limb and guessing the Wiz grab the 8th seed in the East and knock off the Jazz in the 1st round.

I think there is a difference between wishful hope and a prediction.
