Dodged a huge bullet. Dude is a bust

Not a fair post at all, given the context. A torn meniscus is a pretty recoverable injury. I was not an advocate of drafting him, but this injury has no bearing on his future as an NBA player.

This might be another jacked up post-season. Murray is out, Mitchell may be hampered. Injuries are screwing up some really good runs, I would love to get a post season where everyone is at the top of their game.

Lamello looks like he's coming back! Good news for the NBA. Also means Ant will have legitimate competition if Lamello plays 10 games or so and does well, I think people are itching to vote for him.

If Lamello does get in another 10 games, I’d be shocked if he weren’t ROY. He’s simply been better than Ant when the year is looked at as a whole. It also helps that his team took a giant step up from last year, partially because of Melo, partially because of Hayward.

I think he will get it too but Ant's numbers have been pretty incredible post all-star break, like some of the better rookie numbers in league history, particularly when it comes to scoring. That said he has cooled off enough in the last few games (not really bad just not ridiculously hot) that I could definitely see Lamello taking back all the hype.

My brother (who started out hating Edwards and now loves him) thinks Ant would have it locked up no matter what, he thinks what he is doing is more impressive than Lamello, I told him I don't think he's achieved that yet but he swears up and down lol. I'm going to laugh if Lamello does wind up winning it only because he is so certain that he can't at this point, I was telling him that Lamello's game really has people mesmerized but he thinks I'm crazy or something for suggesting he would still win ROY if he had some more time. We are about to find out XD.

Agreed, unless Ball totally plummets I think he'll lock it up with any semblance of a return.

From what I have heard, he is pretty good off the ball but he's terrible on the ball. He has a good IQ to play off the ball and anticipate/read plays but he doesn't have the strength or athleticism to keep up with many NBA players.

Well.. maybe we weren't prepared to offload enough to get him.. we drafted Culver.. what an embarrassment...

So close to getting Garland. I don’t think many thought the Cavs would take a small PG after drafting Sexton the year before. Garland’s improvement gives me more hope for Rosas’ talent evaluation.

If Garland pans out that's a good thing in my book, means Rosas is pretty good with his evaluation skills. I can chalk Culver up to a gamble he too when he flopped on trading up to get Garland.

I was curious how the Warriors board was feeling

Warriors should keep him. He's slightly above average for his position. Maybe a top 10 SF? Certainly a starter in this league, and a good 3rd option, and an awesome 4th one.

Regardless of semantics, when his contract's up we should resign him to a deal starting at 20/22 mil/year.

The problem with Wiggins is his image relative to his production vs. salary. Fix that in due time, no more complaints from me.

Hornets have their excitement back now that they are more healthy. Ball with a great game coming back from injury, near triple-double. I look forward to seeing them in the playoffs and really assessing ball, again I was a doubter, he has proven me wrong right away.
