This team tho hasn’t even tried for most of the season on a consistent basis. It’s just bs. You can’t turn it on u just can’t and I think Tatum and Jaylen think they can.

We aren’t there yet...like at all. ECF runs mean jack ****

Seeding matters if you have to play Nets, Philly or Bucks in the 1st. Guaranteed 1st round exit and you get shafted on a pick too! :banghead:

Can't speak for everybody, but I certainly don't. Unless something really turns around in the next week.

BUT, I do look forward to seeing what gem we scrape up with the #14 pick this time.

I think it’s still possible to get the tenth pick and still make it into the playoffs..........Ainge and Brad playing chess.....

This game reminds me of when we ended the Rockets' longest winning streak in 2008. We broke a different type of streak today, so I feel almost as proud.

2 losses to the Kings.
2 losses to the Pelicans.
2 losses to the Pistons.
Loss to the Cavs.
Loss to the shorthanded Bulls.
Loss to the Thunder.

If even half of those were wins :nonono:

There was a time when we were talking about Nesmith possibly being a starter for this team this year......

Allowing Marcus to shoot 17 times is instant termination in my mind. Unacceptable. Half his shots go to Pritchard and we win.

My biggest beef with tonight was the effort level. I don’t care who you’re playing, if your best player is out, you have to at least play as hard as the other team.

I was expecting too much though, I guess. That’s on Brad as well, FWIW.

Pritchard was great, and Jaylen mostly didn’t try to do too much, while having to do too much tonight.

I would petition the NBA to allow the Celtics to allow Nesmith to play for the hornets tomorrow. That way he can start for them and drop 30 on the Celtics which will just build his confidence. It's a win-win situation.

The entire team is simply too young and immature to be consistent. They have a little brother complex where they get up for games against teams with star players because they long for Steph Curry to pat them on the back and welcome them to the big boys club.

No one on OKC or Chicago or these other crap teams can give our young boys the validation they desire so much. With no one to impress they don't try. They're too cool to have to try against a starless team like OKC. Trying is for no-talent teams. The Celtics are built from Danny Ainge's brilliantly built warchest of lottery picks, a roster full of premium lottery talent that does not have to stoop to the try-hard level of the mere commonfolk like OKC.

This team has a major attitude problem. They think they are far better than they are. They deserve to get their butt handed to them by garbage teams.

Or just lots of uppers they can take before tip-off

From my unscientific hack research:

The most turnovers by a team that still ended up winning a regular season game is 29 achieved by that formiddable 1997 Cleveland Cavaliers outfit. Tonight OKC had 27...

That was quite the game :)

That was me, I chose ... poorly

Should’ve known we drafted someone with a late lottery pick who would barely see the court despite having a skill that seems like it would be really useful between JB and JT.

He hustles on defense too, but nah, let’s see what Semi’s got tonight

Why did Parker barely play? Did he ask for a takeback on his contract?
