not that i'm doing a big discovery or something but we're gonna live and die on the playoffs by how good our defense does.

Prefer that than living and dying from the three point line like the Bucks do. That is a good baseline to begin with.

Really feels like that the team is locked in. They know that they may have to go without a loss all the way to grab the first seed. Shades of 2018.

They should win both no matter what, even when the hawks are healthy.

In theory yes, but historically Hawks have given us problems with Trae. The new version with Nate McMillan are a good team.

It’s because teams figured out Brett brown defensive patterns. Have Embiid and Horford drop all
The way back. Mid range open. Deep range open. Everything was open last season

This season. Sixers are mixing it up more. More variety with the defense. Embiid still drops back but he will front the pick and roll at times as well. You need the variety to keep teams from knowing what you are doing

Plus it helps to have Danny green/thybulle and Simmons on the perimeter

Sixers are in the box seat for the number 1 seed no doubt... The Nets playing the bucks twice and they have quite a few hard games after that also

That’s assuming everyone is healthy

The only team lucky to be healthy most of the season is the Phoenix Suns.

If Chris Paul suffers his usual injuries. Sun can go down in 1st and definitely the second round in the west

The last two games have been a lot of fun. This is probably the best and most enjoyable Sixers team of my lifetime.

I don't think it's too surprising and I expected it as soon as we traded for Hill. Scott is the 11th best player on the team (at most), and we have Tobias, Ben, and Matisse to play the 4 in various units. I'm actually pretty happy to see Doc being willing to use Matisse as a small 4 to keep Furkan on the floor over Scott.
