Russ is just taking over this game. He's destroying Schroder and whatever other scrub they have in the backcourt.

Am I the only one questioning whether Drummond is actually going to help their team?

When Russ can limit his turnovers and shots he is a top 10 pg.

The Wizards’ guards are prone to play hero ball. That’s not going to beat teams that get to the rim easily.

Not sure what that means. They are the Lakers without LeBron and they don't have great guard play. This is the game where we really need Lopez.

It means I was wrong! :-)

Haha. I like it!

Russell Westbrook has 12 assists and only one turnover.

That’s not WTF. It’s OMG!
Bye bye Beal.

I would bring him off the bench when LeBron comes back. Start AD at center. They are so slow and methodical. Maybe that will help in the playoffs. Drummond looks like he has no lift. He's missed about 3-4 shots at the rim tonight. When Alex Len outplays you, he's definitely not the same player.

It is really nice to be pleasantly surprised. People sharing the ball and the big guys getting touches is all you can really ask for. Guards not turning it over. Outstanding effort!

Robin Lopez means a lot to this team. What’s thrilling is Gafford and Len are also capable big men. That is the deep as we’ve been at C.
Bye bye Beal.

Len replaces Gafford, and immediately our defense falls apart.

Was really hoping we could finish the game without this many WTFs.

Here we go.

Wow, Russ. NIce finsh. I'm glad he pushed it there. Our halfcourt offense was getting too predictable and ISOish.

We hold on here and move to two games up on Chicago for the 10th spot and 1.5 behind Indiana for the 9th spot. Have to admit the play-in game scenario could be fun.

Some nice clutch shots from Russ and Beal. That should do it.

And by the looks of it 2 games off Charlotte and the 8th place!

Now Doris is making excuses for the Lakers. I'm sure Caruso, a nice defender, would have made all the difference. Now LBJ. That's a different story. But with AD back or mostly back, I thought this would be almost Spurs-like down to the wire.

This ain’t your old man’s Bullets. It’s a new era. The Wiz have found something and are establishing their identity and coming together as a team. Points in the paint and effort on the defensive end kill.
