I can't with this team. We will lose round 1 without Kawhi saving us. So many issues with this team, coaching, management everything.

I remember when PG got a high 5 after shooting a 3 and it was reversed by the refs. Good times...

Where are the people who were celebrating how great Reggie is? I told you when he plays teams that actually play hard and not scrub teams he looks like total garbage.
And against great teams? TMann is shining brighter than he ever has. I'm SO GLAD Ty Lue listened to me and made him the starter. Reggie has no business doing anything in the playoffs. He will LOSE US GAMES.
Oh look Rondo is back.
Mann needs to go back to the bench. He’s not there yet as a defender and since he started his lack of shooting has made the starters more suspect. He’s a good energy player they are overplaying his role. Rondo and Kennard are a better pair while Kawhi is out
Yeah you're right Kennard will be SOO much better as a defender and Mr passive never shoots the ball w FIVE points in 17 minutes would be better. Please. I cannot believe you can watch this game and think the solution is to bench Mann. WOW.

Can't let the two bench scrubs have the scoring games they had. That was game right there

Another horrible game by Paul George, don't give me those fake stats when had 5 horrible turnovers, 4 assists and 4 POINTS in the clutch meanwhile Chris Paul did the exact opposite when it counted.
We play the Suns, we aren't winning that series. We better hope if we're lucky to make it out of the 1st round we play the Jazz or Nuggets instead.

That sucked and we could never get over the hump. We need Kawhi back badly and Rondo should be starting as soon as possible. George with terrible turnovers, Mann poor defense and fouls, Luke not taking enough shots, Zu not enough minutes, and everyone else just not bringing enough fight.
Ready to move on for Beverly if he’s not back in these next few games

Everyone arguing w me in the last GT needs a SERIOUS readjustment of their expectations after seeing this team since last game was excused as "not a big loss" and this was the game that counted.
Well, we saw it and we all know who the problems are (that includes Ty Lue as well and Lawrence Frank).

Rather have him on the floor instead of Mann just standing in the corner and getting burned off ball and screens. At least be aware to switch. Mann isn’t a starter capable player yet. Hopefully Kawhi comes back and he can go back to his old role

Bench players in general play better at home, don't know if that is the case with the Phoenix guys, but they are a pretty balanced scoring team.
Not too surprised. No Kawhi, they lost to the Clippers last time on the second game of a back to back when they were coming off the OT vs Utah, they certainly really wanted this one, especially with it also being the playoff clinching game for them after their however many years drought.
Beating the Suns on the road with no Kawhi is not really the expected result, but there was a chance at least.

This team is in deep, deep trouble. I can just sense the incoming first-round exit to the Lakers.
Ty Lue is Doc 2.0. He is a terrible coach, period. Come playoff time, Zu will be glued to the bench again (and so will Mann, probably) while Patterson and Reggie get to cost us games because they're Lue's favorites. It's like we never fired Doc at all. Just a really lazy and disappointing hire, which was obvious from the moment it was announced.
Playoff P choked once again. Is there any doubt we win this game with SGA and Gallo? It's time for the fans to stop coddling and making excuses for him, he is getting paid $190 million and cost us a ton of draft picks on top of that, and has rarely ever performed to the "superstar" level for us in a meaningful game. If we don't at least make the WCF this year, he needs to be traded, period.
Kawhi needs to stop with the secrecy and "precautions" and get back on the court. The last thing we need is him trying to get his rhythm back during the playoffs.
Is anyone surprised that this team immediately went to **** as soon as they started getting media attention and being ranked #1 in the power rankings? It's just a mentally weak team that can't handle any expectations at all.

I wouldn't. Mann brings so much hustle, energy, ball movement, and all the little things. The total antithesis of what Kennard does who brings absolute nothing along w Reggie when his shot isn't falling. And I trust Reggie's irrational confidence and occasional hot streaks more than Kennard who constantly gets in his own way and has somehow miraculously become a WORSE defender than Reggie.
Kawhi comes back it solves a lot of the offensive issues you have w Mann. I'm taking him 1000x out of 1000x over Reggie and Kennard as a starter.

Are you going to respond or look into my private message OG or does a no response assume it's a free for all on this board?
Also weren''t you one of those saying how the Pelicans game didn't matter and it was this Suns game that mattered? And now it's not a surprise they lost? Which is it?

I didn't expect to beat them 3 times in a row but, would've been nice to steal another victory like they've done this season...lol The guys look tired too. I think they're ready for the regular season to be over. Clippers have had a grueling schedule made worse with guys being out.

Umm Zu was getting crushed by Ayton, let's not act like he would have miraculously saved the team. Having said that I do agree he was the best option if they weren't going to try Boogie. Lue has done a lot for this team, a lot of the issues are personnel related on Frank's part, I think you're scapegoating Lue too much.
Agreed on PG. Just look at that 4th quarter of his on top of those TO's. I'd take SGA and Gallo (and even at this rate CP3 in a swap to win it all this year), really no emotion regarding PG bc it's been what I've been saying all along. Still awaiting the declarative bombastic ignorance from one of those Nick people regarding his game tonight. And good luck trading him! Especially fi we falter in the playoffs bc of him... at most we could get 2 first rounders I reckon.
Agree this team just has some weird issues, clearly PG and Kawhi are just bad leaders. It worked out in Toronto bc of the team around him.. If Rondo can't save us, no one can...
I am also again back on the potential 1st round exit group, just depends on the matchup..

His hustle is negated a lot by not touching the ball and the team can’t run a lot of plays for him. Team is 1-2 in the Reggie and Mann combination because it’s a bad fit. Unlike Luke to sometimes the betterment or fault Reggie is a ball dominant player so Mann spends a lot of time standing around doing nothing. Don’t see Reggie and Mann fitting because Reggie isn’t going to let him handle as much and when Reggie doesn’t have the ball it’s usually with George

had to play like a pickup team with 3 starters out
no rotation, no familiar 5-man combinations
Suns were in their playoff rotation mode
we were in scramble mode
we did well to stay in it to the end
if the game mattered, Kawhi plays and we win
lighten up Francis

Doc 2.0 blames the players and makes excuses for his terrible "coaching" just like Doc 1.0 used to do. We're 8 games away from the playoffs and this team is so far from being ready, it's not even funny.

The game did matter. We'll be wishing we won this game when we're stuck with the Lakers in round 1.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
