Yeah, the same dudes spending every waking moment **** on James Wiseman stanning a guy who's the same age shooting 40% TS and worse across the board

It's interesting to me how two of my favorite 2020 prospects fell to mid round for complete opposite reasons...

1) poku.. so raw, pure unicorn, too many GMs scared to fail.
2) Stewart.. so solid, no flash, boring, too many GMs didn't want to settle

Stewart is an interesting case of "maybe just watch the games and look at results" instead of projecting. The dude always outplayed Wiseman and other top centers in highschool. He did incredibly well against Okongwu his freshman year. He just battles and plays smart. And everytime that happened, nobody really gave credit to him, instead it was more of a conversation of "well Okongwu just couldnt match his strength, but he will get bigger"... or "Well Wiseman is raw and once his skill improves he will be better"... but Stewart is going to keep getting better shooting and defending as well.

I doubt Pistons would even trade Stewart for Wiseman right now.

Last week it was Poku, this week it's Stewart. Why don't we just cut Wiseman if his value is a goose egg and we can't trade him for anyone?

Not singling anyone out, but it's negligent to do 'right now I bet X wouldn't trade Y for Wiseman' scenarios because he exists in two worlds for us currently. A world where we develop him long term and need to accept he's not a finished product with long term potential. Or a world where we package him in a large deal, where his inclusion is seen as a tangible upside acquisition for a rebuilding team.

I would say why don't we do this same silly exercise with Poole, but in another thread folks wanted to cut the guy straight up. IDK whatever makes y'all happy I guess.

I agree with this. My post really wasn't about Wiseman, but about 2 prospects i've liked since pre-draft. The Wiseman jab was just pointing out that Stewart has outperformed Wiseman/Okongwu just like he did in high school and college. Obviously those two have been injured and the Warriors/Hawks are not trading them with low value unless packaged with other stuff. I just think Pistons are probably very happy with their guy. Same goes for OKC with Poku.

Randolph has been a valuable big for Real Madrid for a while now. He would absolutely be our 3rd best center behind Dray/Looney.

Haliburton with a nice 23 points, 10 assists and 4-8 from 3.

I honestly did not think his game and shot would translate. He looked slow and his shot easy to block. He’s proven me and a lot of folks wrong!

Point guard heavy draft.

Full court under hand pas for a layup by Lamelo. Dude has laser targeting.

Kenyon Martin Jr. showing he belongs in the league.

I remember watching his Sierra Canyon games and thought if he were JUST a bit taller he’d be just like his pops. Nope. At 6’6 he’s showing he can be a stud in the paint. Warriors have too many young wings & vet wings to make more space.

Cole Anthony with his second game winning jumper of the season. He’s played very nicely for Orlando and I like the pairing of him and Hampton.

Point guards in the draft are doing nice things.

It’s a nice start for a rebuild post Aaron Gordon. I think Cole can be a solid starting point guard for his career and love his ability to score and be clutch.

Still not sure what Hampton can become but he has a high motor.

i have them switched, Hampton as the stud starting guard and Cole as the stud 6th man, at least that's how I had them ranked, but I really like both players in general, I think the Magic got themselves 2 studs.

I was interested in Hampton’s game. He’s a good dribbler and decent distributor. He has the Westbrook attack and energy which I like but he also wasn’t a great shooter which made me have Cole above him.

I can see Orlando having to choose if both rise to stardom since I Can’t see Either be the off ball guard. It will work if obviously one is the 6th man.

Do your research! He's playing in the NBL.
I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

We need to sticky a 2021 draft thread.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.
